We were trying to wrangle kids (herding cats...) trying to keep them presentable before, then just in general while selecting which pictures. Nichole did not rush us at all. Just the opposite, she took the time to show off all of her cameras, pictures, and such which piqued our daughter's interest as she is a budding digital artist. She had us laughing and enjoying ourselves. Then the photo selection process was easier than I have ever dealt with before. We did it all at home, online within a day or two of getting them taken. No stress or pressure, no oddball package deals with extra photos you don't need or want. We already can't wait until the next time and will be recommending her to all of our family and friends! I really liked the way she captured the love between the couples in her photos and I wanted my photos to be just as good. I was obsessed with the engagement photos; I figured I would want more of them around the house than me in a white dress. I picked a couple of our favorite places that had sentimental value for us as a couple and then I coordinated outfits to go with those places. Then I went on pinterest and viewed several engagement photos to get an idea of poses. I made a inspiration board for each place with outfits and poses and sent it Mollie in advance. This worked out really well. Mollie knew in advance what I was looking for and was able to add a number of additional poses at each place. In addition, she took us to some places that she knew about that would go with our theme. It took about 1-2 months after the shoot to get our pictures. For the wedding, we did the same thing. My groom and I put together an inspiration board of photos we wanted to take with our bridesmaids/groomsmen. My husband took advantage of this and went to several locations around the wedding site and got some really good photos (Mollie's husband took these photos). I was exhausted and choose to stay in my suite with my bridesmaids, but we still used a number of the poses from my inspiration board and got some really good photos as a result. I didn't put as much effort into the wedding photos and since Mollie knew this wasn't a priority for me, there were only a handful of pictures of just me and my groom. There were still good pictures, but only a handful to choose from. Mollie and her husband stayed for the reception and got all the traditional photos, but by this time, I didn't care anymore and it showed in the photos. It took 2-3 months to get the wedding photos back. There were over 1500 photos from the wedding day and we got about 600 to choose from. It was a little overwhelming. All in all, I had a great experience working with Mollie and her husband and would recommend them to anyone considering them for their wedding. However, remember that you are an active participant in the photo process; the more effort you put into your pictures, the more you will get out the experience. I recommend researching what you want in advance and letting your photographer know what your priorities are. We referenced the poses from the inspiration boards several times at each shoot and my favorite photo is from one of those poses that I never would have been able to come up with on the spot.

I contacted her on a Thursday via e-mail and she called me back first thing Friday via phone (as requested) and we were taking photos by Saturday morning. Rebecca took family photos for us on Saturday and came back on Sunday to take photos of our Easter celebration. Yes you read that correctly this was all EASTER Weekend! Rebecca did a great job and was extremely professional. When it started raining she contacted me right away and even came out very quickly when we decided to do the photos even if it was raining. She had a great personality and disposition and worked well with our difficult cast of characters ranging in age from 85 years to 6 months old. Scrappy Bee Creations currenlty provides you with both the edited and unedited versions of your photos. I can not tell you how much I appreciate this fact. I love some of the unedited photos we got, but I know in general a photographer wouldn't normally include them in their work. But they truly mean the world to me (i.e. there was a photo of all the young cousins, the older kids weren't looking at the camera because they were looking at the baby, not the desired affect, but so adorable.) Normally this type of thing wouldn't be included in your disc of images. So kudos to Scrappy Bee Creations for that fact. The only small little drawback we experienced with Scrappy Bee Creations was that it took longer to get our images than was orginally quoted and frankly longer than I would have liked, Rebecca is new to this and is quickly learning, I see even now that she has sped up her turn around time. So I know she is resolving this issue and once she sent our disc she followed up to make sure we received them and were pleased with the final product. Again very professional conduct. We got all this for an absolutely amazing price. Scrappy Bee Creations does great work and as a new photgrapher Rebecca will quickly be in demand enough and taking excellent pictures to the point where she will start raising her prices. So get in and get a session with Scrappy Bee Creations while you still can because this girl is going to blow up big time.
