Also, not to be mean but at those places, the techs had bad skin and cakey makeup which made me doubt their expertise in skincare matters. Suncare Medspa is OC's Hidden Gem of Asian Beauty Treatments! We initially purchased the Hydrafacial and scheduled an appointment. The place is very quiet, clean, and organized, I went to the bathroom and washed my face with my products just to make sure I had my face properly cleaned. I didn't have to wait too long until I was called and assigned to Nina. Surprise! Let me tell you, this was the most pleasant relaxing, and luxurious experience ever! Ambience: The room had a very soft floral fragrance and the lights were low with soft background music. Hydro facial: If you're into skincare, (as much as I am) you can probably tell if the product they are using on you has good ingredients just by the smell and feeling on your skin. Staff: I knew Nina was knowledgeable the moment she explained how the hydro facial machine works, and when she started the skin prep, She made sure my skin was clean and ready to begin the treatment. This included a Chinese-style Facial and decollete massage with pressure points and a modeling mask treatment along with arms and hand massage, exfoliation, and moisturizing. I was so impressed and felt bad about having low expectations lol Every serum, exfoliator, and moisturizer was better than the one before! I fell asleep for a bit, it was a good 90 minutes of luxurious relaxation! The second time I tried the Bojin Facial, my face looked depuffed and my skin was super hydrated! They mentioned my skin is very dry right now and I didn't tell them that is because I started using prescription Retin A but they noticed the change since my skin is more on the oily side. Hubby's opinion: My husband also had the Hydrafacial twice he mentioned that the first time the tech probably ate something with garlic for lunch because he could feel the smell on her fingers LOL His second time was with an older lady and he said she was very rough in the extraction part (maybe because he has more deep and open pores to work on) and that the lady kept the light on (could be the lady couldn't see much with lower light since she was older) also the second time was a little bit more distracting because the tech keeps going in and out of the room and there were clients outside speaking a bit loud. But overall he likes both techs technics and recognizes the good quality of their work! Lastly, remember to bring extra money for tips.
