However, it should be well noted that the end result was largely based on the efforts of our family and friends. While the lights provided by the venue contributed enormously to the ambiance of the evening, a lot of effort was put in by us to make the event memorable. We needed to clean the bathrooms, the tables provided were in bad shape and we needed to roll them out and set them up. Many of the table cloths they provided were stained and unusable. We had an issue with some of the lights not working and Rick (the owner) did come out and was able to fix them; however it would have been appreciated if someone had come out to check in and see how things were going. Bottom line, you can have a beautiful event here, but know you will have to put in the effort so consider it a DIY event. And for all that, 25$ taken out of our deposit!

When we first met with Cindi many months ago, she already knew the time of sunset on March 9. That speaks for itself. We set the end of cocktail hour to coincide with that time, and worked everything backwards from there for the rehearsal. The sun cooperated on the day of the event and everything was magical. We choose an open bar, appetizers, and a menu of about five entrees. The food was all very good, but I wouldn't call it excellent. The mahi-mahi was a tad too done. The brisket was close to excellent. I didn't have the island tacos, but heard they were a hit. The coconut shrimp was perfect. So a mix. Appetizers were generous. We selected "premium level" beer and wine and liquor for the bar. Mostly I was happy with that choice - good beer and liquor, except I felt that the Chardonnay options brought it down a notch. We asked for a slightly better Chardonnay, and the best we could get was still not so great. Wine lovers need a little more value in an event like this, and a better white would help to improve the overall value of the premium selection. The venue and the staff are the reason the rating is high. Cindi was very helpful and accommodating from the time we first met in the fall, but really showed her professionalism on the night of the event. She and her team were friendly and helpful, paying attention to detail and flexible in meeting our needs. Big kudos to the staff!

They are so easy to work with, I told them where my Airbnb was and they knew the perfect spot for our sunset picnic, literally 30 steps from our back door. It was truly the perfect way to spend our anniversary. The owner personally picked up our food from a local restaurant and had it ready for us to eat as soon as we walked to our picnic. We ate, listened to music and played a few games and laid back on the pillows and enjoyed the sunset.

He frequently performs at different restaurants on Anna Maria and is a talented singer, guitarist and piano player. For our day, he performed acoustic guitar, and DJ'd the reception. He was so wonderful to work with, especially considering we made all the plans from Chicago. I sent him a list of about 50 songs we really wanted to hear that night. He had practically all of them, and those he didn't he acquired. Being the pre-wedding ditz I was, my hubby and I hadn't picked our "first dance" yet. We had narrowed it down to five songs. Oops. Chuck called me the day before, totally cool, and before I caught on, he had made the choice for us! (Sneaky.) He told me how much he loved the song, and how perfect it would be. Wow did he call it. It was truly the most amazing moment of both our lives. We still slow dance to this day to TV Carpio doing the sweetest rendition of "I Want to Hold Your Hand." Chuck choreographed the whole night into an unforgettable experience that no one will soon forget.

I was the MOH in a wedding a few weeks ago in Sarasota, and I was APPALLED at the dj. I saw/heard…read morehim yelling at one of the servers at the reception because she wouldnt give him his food during cocktail hour. HOW RUDE to even suggest eating in front of all the guests. Then the company "forgot" to bring the second setup to have music play outside and the officiant have a microphone, so instead the dj hung outside of the window during the ceremony. The bride HERSELF asked for the DJ to play Drake and he insisted that on the list of "not to play" was Drake. Umm... the bride was the one asking. Is that a joke? The DJ also played super out of date music. At the end of the night, he went up to bride asking for final payment. Shes standing there, in her wedding dress, clearly no wallet. He couldnt have waited until the next day? Awful all around. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Run far far away.
