Super excited to have to tried the new Sunny Seoul Korean kitchen location. They just opened in March '2026. They had a food truck that was very popular in the same location and closed in October '25 to get ready for this one. First impression loved the seating where you could sit in the floor. It was super cute, after a bit I did find myself wanting to sit in the standard tables and chairs. That felt better but I do feel that they were a bit close. Went to the front to order. Everyone was super nice and helpful. I ordered the hot stone bibimbap with tofu for me and one with beef bulgogi for my husband. We liked these so much. We had them at another Korean restaurant in Orlando last week. I also ordered the beef bulgogi kimbap as well. Our food was excellent! So tasty and simply irresistible. I was watching other people's food come out and it looked amazing too. Glad we tried this place. It's in a newer development too. We will def. Come back again. read more

What an amazing find! I loved everything about my visit to Sunny Seoul. The staff were very attentive and explained the dishes to me. The decor and atmosphere are amazing! The restaurant looks so bright and inviting and even has traditional seating on the floor if you want to have an authentic experience. Food portions were huge, everything was fresh, and so delicious! I had the bibimbap bowl (as recommended by the friendly gentleman who took my order) and couldn't believe how so many different flavors just came together in one bowl. One word sums up this dinner... wow... just wow. Everything was delicious. It is so nice to have authentic Korean food close by! The dine in area is small, but super cute. They have 4 different types of seating including two lower tables where you sit on pillows, high top chairs, and regular tables. You order at the register or iPad and they bring your food to you. My husband and I shared a three dishes: beef bulgogi bipimbop, spicy pork Kimball, and japchae. They were able to leave out mushrooms to accommodate my dietary restriction. The food was on point. The staff were all friendly. The restaurant is new and clean. We will definitely be returning and I want to try the doshirok! They also do a lot of carry out orders. read more

They have made a nice spot under a big tent in the parking lot, with some picnic tables and music - in the strip mall that will soon be their home. Found this gem when volunteering at the Twig. They currently operate a food truck in the parking lot of this strip mall on SR 64, but they are going to open a restaurant in this plaza once the county signs off . So my husband and I returned on a Saturday evening at about 5:45 to order. Menu is in the photos. We got the spicy bulgogi Doshirok (meal platter) which has in addition to the bulgogi Japchae, Duk Bo Ki, Rice, Lettuce wrap, kimchi and banchan of the day. Also got an order of Korean fried chicken. Wanted to get the Mandu (dumplings) but they were out. Service was great- they let me sample the spicy pork to make sure it wasn't too spicy (it was not). Order was ready quickly. It smelled fantastic and once we got home and tasted it, we knew it tasted as good as it smelled! Can't wait til they open the restaurant! Oh -prices are great too. Authentic Korean food using mom's recipes.... Two sisters started this business. Open for a couple of weeks, customers are building up. They just got their license for their in strip mall store. All contractors are lined up to get the storefront set up, which going from the dollar store to a restaurant is set to take 3?months, so maybe by May? I had the platter, and the Korean "gnocchi" is fabulous, but now that I'm doing keto, they work with me, replacing rice with extra veg. I've had the fried chicken , freshly hand battered and cooked fresh, The platter, and what I eat now is the bibimbop. I never had veg that I look forward to eating! I told Catherine, " you make me eat my vegetables"! Do yourself a favor and just go get some!
