For starters, only two of the apartments are "updated" while the rest are severely outdated, with disgusting carpet in the kitchens and poorly painted rooms throughout. There are constant plumbing issues with minimal drainage in the bathroom shower and sink and the light in the kitchen flickers slightly even when completely off. We let Mary Beth know, she either says she'll get it taken care of (and never does) or tries to say "We're working on it." We pay $540 a month for a two bedroom one bath apartment and the other apartments pay at least that much as well. The "laundry facilities on site" consist of old, dingy washers that cost $1.25 per load, and all of TWO dryers that have heat and don't just steal your money. Out of twelve, only two work. My roommate has confronted Mary Beth about this and she has only said, "We're working on it." They receive at least $8,640 a month just for rent, and cannot seem to fix anything. It is the best apt. complex in the neighborhood. My apt. is a newly renovated with new flooring, appliances & paint. Mgmt. is not the one responsible, but the tenants as well. I say this to say that tenants are responsible for picking up after themselves and their children. In order to make this a better and safe place to live, is to help mgmt. make it a place where you want to live. Everyone must take responsibility & become proactive, to be happy & call this home. He thought the toilet was evil and kept it shrouded in sheet metal and cardboard. He slept with his feet in ammo boxes. He had a giant black dildo in his safe. He kept his alarm clock under a coffe can. He wore caps made of steel wool to keep radio waves from piercing his brain. All this was of course documented in a video that is now gone forever. That sucks bigtime. But the facility is nice for old people too.
