I have been to the other Sunny's on Redd Road, and the food and service are the same - excellent! It was not too busy, so I was seated and quickly served. I recommend trying this place if you haven't.

Delicious dinner at Sunny's - they always deliver high quality rolls and have nice service. Also kinda dig the piano music to set the ambiance.

Sushi rolls are made sloppy, they fall apart the second you pick them up. There is basically no fish in the roll. Also no complimentary miso soup! If you want Sunny's go to the OG one.

Great places to go for sushi. I haven't had a bad sushi roll from them and I think I've tried them all. The Pancho roll is a great take on Japanese-Mexican fusion, it is the right kind of spicy and I highly recommend it. The restaurant is cozy and the service is friendly.

This place was so good. I was visiting a friend here In El Paso. When you order sushi you get complementary miso soup and sesame oil cucumber for the table. Started out with a bang because the soul was tasty and the cucumbers were also tasty. Then we ordered the mussels. Now it was not all that good to us. It was too much sauce on the mussels and would've preferred them the traditional way in garlic white wine sauce. Now the sushi was banging. Now you didn't even have to order extra sauce on the side because it was alot of sauce on the sushi itself. If you don't like a lot of sauce tell the server to have them make it without the sauce then order extra sauce on the side. Now the kids bento box was large and was enough to keep the kids entertained. Everyone was nice I would come here again.

They were busy when we arrived a party of 7. And we were severed in an okay time but the serve was hustling so not terrible. The sushi rolls were delicious , we spilt the boat and then had order entrees after. It was good. The spicy beef noodle soup was delicious! They even give you miso soup like a traditional place, so that was a nice touch.

The menu at this location is not the same at all, which is super disappointing. I got the Sunny's Special Roll which usually has spicy crab topped with salmon, spicy mayo and sliced jalapeño. And the rainbow roll which usually has avocado. The Sunny's roll had tuna instead and then just siracha with diced jalapeños. The rolls were also poorly made and were falling apart. It is just super misleading because you order what you usually order at Sunny's Sushi and they should make you aware it is not the same owners. I don't recommend this location at all if you are used to the original Sunny's Sushi. It literally ruined my meal.

This place is my go-to sushi place on the west side. If you want fresh sushi, this is the place to go. Also, everything that you order is going to come out exactly as you would expect it to. Everything is described perfectly on their menus and so you are going to get what you ask for. It is a little pricey for sushi, but I guess that's what I'm paying for whenever I eat out, right? I always get the salmon lover roll while I'm there and it never disappoints. Everything is made fresh. All the ingredients are fresh, tons of umami flavor. Food comes out pretty quickly and made to perfection. I do not have any bad things to say about Sunny's sushi. 9/10, would recommend.

I have been craving sushi and I am so thankful we decided on Sunny's Sushi! The list of sushi rolls is extremely long with great variety. We had a hard time narrowing it down! We decided on a golden California roll (fried California roll), shrimp tempura roll, volcano roll, and a Mexican orgasm roll. All of the rolls were flavorful and we would order again! Delicious! However, that Mexican orgasm roll was one of the best sushi rolls I have ever had! It left us wanting to try even more sushi from Sunny's and we can't wait to order again!

I love this place. We got cucumber kimchi (my favorite), steamed gyoza, miso soup, two rolls and mochi ice cream for dessert. This is my favorite sushi spot in El Paso and the aesthetic is also so cute! The sushi tasted delicious and fresh. Servers are very friendly as well.

Not expecting great sushi in El Paso and Sunny's doesn't change that perception. Noodles were quite salty and the sushi was just fine.

Very clean establishment and good vibes with shoji screens and lighting. Our service was very good too! We explained how we have never been here before and our waitress explained in full detail the how to and their menu. She came back at a good rate and was very nice. Me and my partner got the standard course for two. It was around $68. That's a lot in my opinion for not that much food compared to a Korean bbq. The galbi short ribs for example, they only gave us 3. They couldn't even give us 4? Two each? That in general is also crazy small. The rest of the meats were flat pieces like brisket and little steak bits. That's not a lot of food. It looks like a lot but when meat shrinks it's just tasters. I'm not impressed with the amount I'm spending with the amount of food. It's honestly not a lot when you really break it down. We did try the mochi and me and my partner agreed that was probably the best mochi ice cream we have had. Plenty of options, very delicious and tasty. If you want some sort of BBQ experience, I would not come here as my first option. You're just wasting money when you can go to an all you can eat and order practically everything. If you wanted Individual plates of soemthing, for example the galbi short ribs for a plate was around $14. Cmon now. We wouldn't come back here. It was decent, too expensive for what you're getting. There's just better options to try. Thank you.

The menu is amazing! I ordered so much I forget what I even had specifically, I just know we started with Kalbi and ended with garlic chicken and had everything from crispy rice to spicy pork in between. The service was great! And we met the owners, Dennis and Ran, and expressed our gratitude for bringing such an establishment to the borderland! Can't wait to go back

This location was tucked into a small strip mall, and looks kind of cramped. Walking in the waiting area we noticed a small area, and this place is a tad out dated. Peeling tint on the windows, old carpet, and in this place is in need of some TLC. Or a good coat of paint and a scrub. Five of us were seated after a small wait with a family of 3. After a long wait, our waiter Sebastian finally showed up and took our drink order. Various drinks ordered around the table, some ordering alcoholic beverages. I kept it simple and ordered a Coke. After another long wait, he was back with our drinks. Not wanting to wait another long period before he came back we wanted to order our food. Thankfully the guest family was ready. For me, soup for the appetizer, and the ribeye for dinner. Oddly enough, ribeye is hard to find at hibachi. Hoping it was going to be good. After a long wait, Sebastian brought our soup and salads to the table. I tried the soup, not a fan. Something about it just tasted odd. I was hoping for more of an onion-y taste, but was not getting that. To each their own... I just pushed it to the edge of the table next to my empty drink. I was hoping Sebastian took notice of the empty drink. After a reasonable wait time, our chef wheeled his cart with our food over, and confirmed our orders. Everyone's drinks were empty, so we were hoping Sebastian would be back soon. The chef, a white dude, attempted to speak Spanish, and distributed the ginger sauce and some sort of hot sauce of some sort. I was surprised there was no yum yum sauce. The chef got right to cooking, still giving Spanish lessons. Nice chef, just a bit odd. When you go to Disneyland you expect to see Mickey Mouse, not Chuck-e-Cheese. Same thing going to a hibachi. Impress me with Japanese, not Spanish. He gave us the basic hibachi routine of the volcano, train, and catch the egg game. Where's Sebastian? The Dad of our guests was annoyed his beer bottle was empty. Time to send a search and rescue for Sebastian. The chef saw we were annoyed, so he flagged down a young lady walking by and inquired about Sebastian. She stepped in and was our hero. Drinks flowed, and order was restored. Guest Dad got his beer, and things were better. My colleague inquired about yum yum sauce. Turns out, they had it, they just do not give it out freely. Said nice waitress came back quick with the yum yum sauce. The chef distributed rice. It was delicious. When it was time for the steak, it was cooked properly to my liking and was good. I see why hibachi restaurants do not serve ribeyes and stick with New York strips. Mine was a bit fatty, but lacked flavor. The chef did not do a very good job seasoning it and putting enough butter on it. It was not bad, but next time I'll go with the strip. That was 100% on me because I know ribeyes are a fatty cut. Abracadabra!! Sebastian reappeared. Not quite sure what happened, but he returned. Our drinks still stayed empty, but it was nice to see he was still alive. Our meal was finished, time for the check. Sebastian, might not keep your drinks filled quickly, but he was quick with the check. Looking at the bill, we were hit with an automatic gratuity. Once Sebastian reappeared, we asked him why we had to pay this, and he told us the restaurant had a 5 party gratuity rule. Considering the fact the service sucked, getting robbed on top of horrible service was an insult. Truth be told, I think the chef gave Sebastian a heads up that he was not getting a tip based on his performance, so he stuck it to us. Five is just an odd number to charge, I mean rob, gratuity from. We paid our bill and left. Do I recommend this place? Hmmm... Hard to say. Some things I can look past. Like the bad service, the odd chef, or the run down appearance. I can say the fried rice was absolutely delicious and my entree was pretty tasty. I might give it another try when I return to El Paso, but it won't be my first stop. This was easily a 4 star visit. But the bad service, and the cowardice act of robbing us for an undeserved tip knocked it down a peg. Until next time.....
