Had a lovely visit - park was very clean and rooms nice too. The pools were great! There is an outdoor pool too. Only downside was the heat wave and lack of AC in the facility, but room was cold enough. read more

They were all too happy to lend me their own personal iPhone charger, when I found myself without one. The room was super clean and comfortable. The hotel could not be more centrally located. Within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shopping. If you value your sleep, however, avoid this place during "carnaval" (albeit witching stumbling or crawling distance) since the whole town will be partying around you.

I felt like I was being welcomed by family after two hard weeks on the road for business and I had never been here before! Of course the rooms were clean well appointed, etc. But this hotel is so much more. If in Roosendaal I strongly suggest you give it a try. On the town square surrounded by eateries and conveniences plus the requisite church with bell tower. And the lobby houses a wonderful old world bar with an excellent local Dutch Pilsner on tap.

We were lucky enough to get one of the new rooms on the top floor (they have an elevator if needed) and it was beautiful. There are no windows, just two skylights, so the view isn't great. They do open though and I got on a chair a couple times to look out and enjoy the fresh air without having to go downstairs and outside. It is on a semi main road, so there is some traffic noise and you have to remember not to just walk out the front door and step into traffic as the sidewalks are not raised. There is parking next to the building though and it is secured. It is a very short distance to the center of town with great shops, restaurants, etc. I would most definitely stay here again if we go back to the area.

An ok experience. I stayed here because I had to work at a data center right down the road. The restaurant was ok for dinner but if you have the option to drive somewhere else, I would opt for that. The room itself did not have any climate control whatsoever, I found that to be a bit strange, otherwise the room was ok and clean, the pillows were not so comfortable though. My biggest complaint is the Internet connection was terrible. I was able to connect to the network ok but the speed was really really bad, we are talking 5 minutes to load a basic news page, no joke. Basically it was unusable and for me a hotel with no WiFi, bad WiFi, or pay WiFi is a deal breaker, period. The next morning though... wow, I have never seen a breakfast in a hotel of this level to be so nice. Man! The selection and quality was incredible. I stacked my plate sky high, there was so much to try. Really, if they could get their act together with the Internet then I would give them a much higher rating, that breakfast was bomb!

Check in was not until 3p and after I told the receptionist I had just flown in from the USA, she immediately arranged for the room to be prepared and within 30 minutes I was in bed. What an awesome, cozy hotel room located in the center of the city. I stayed in the Dream suite, but each is different with varied themes. The owner (Nadja) arrived late afternoon and served a homemade Gin & Tonic from the hotel bar (also quite cozy). The most amazing G&T ever made with specialty local Gin and tonic water and a story to cap off the experience. She offers G&T mixology classes there as well. Not sure if Hotel Bliss is five star rated with Trip Advisor, but the service and experience is a 10 in my book! Worth a trip to Holland and the city of Breda for the "Bliss"!
