They are always doing maintenance and updating areas, but that is for the improvement of the boulevard. I feel very safe every time I stroll around the area and people watching is a great thing as well.......you see tourists, locals and everyone in between enjoying the city. If you are in Fort Lauderdale, pay Las Olas a visit and you will find Mexican, Italian, South American, Asian cuisines...just to name a few.... You can also find nicely lit grocery stores like Greenwise, Whole Foods, Fresh Market or Publix not to far away....

Sufficient parking for the amount of businesses and did not notice any EV spaces. The service and food at Ethos Greek was impeccable but slightly pricey, while one slice of cheese pizza at Pizza Piez was pretty good NY style. Searched for Easter gifts at the Dollar Tree but was unsuccessful finding the right one. Good plaza if you're in the area to find a good bite or shop til you drop after the beach.

The proximity to the port of Fort Lauderdale, the airport, many hotels and downtown, make this a very easy destination. I've been reading about the new plans and how decrepit it is now. I decided to stop by after Church to see for myself I parked in the Orange Lot and came up the escalator and went right to Macy's! I was extremely impressed with Macy's. A huge beautiful store. Great sales and I actually bought a gorgeous skirt! So as I see the mall it's like having 2 separate malls the half in front of Macy's looks like a full beautiful mall! Today, because it was raining, it was pretty busy! The Apple store was packed! Some great shopping options! Free Parking! Then I went to the other side by the food court and Dillards .., now I understand some of the negative reviews.. Half empty! The H&M is amazing! Huge store! Went here for Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel The Exhibition and it was an amazing experience…read more Parking was super easy. Once inside the exhibition was really well done with an audio tour and music. I learned so much about Michelangelo and his art. The people working were super helpful and excited to chat about the exhibition. I would love to see more exhibitions like this in the future.

I stop at Grand Luxe for an energizing meal before my spending spree begins. Lots of high end stores ranging from Gucci , Versace & Balenciaga. Plus many other brands for what ever your needs are at the moment. Frank hit up Versace and purchased some leopard sweat pants and they are amazing... What a discount and even on sale for added savings.. I won't bore you with everything I bought but I filled my truck bags... SAWGRASS MILLS is the place I come to drop some coin.. Yes it's great to strolled around. I'll be back soon for more retail therapy.

I was hesitant, but once me and Teddy, my dog, got inside. We came across several other pet owners. That's pretty cool! Teddy and I walked the length of the mall while my partner did her shopping. This is one of those high-end malls! But they also had some very good food vendors in the hallways where I got the majority of my snacks and I even got some snacks for Teddy. I was hoping the cute little dog park on the outside would be available to us, but it didn't open until 2:00 p.m. And we were at the mall fairly early. It was a great visit because most of the employees were dog friendly! I'll definitely have to make a trip back to this mall without a dog.

Aventura Mall will always have a special place in my heart…read more Growing up in Miami Beach we often would take the S bus down to Aventura and just hang out. Back then, the S Bus would drop you off at the entrance of the food court and the mall was just 2 floors but look at Aventura Mall now! Completely unrecognizable to the Mall I remember as a teen. Especially since it seems like the average stores I remember are gone and it's all Prada, Gucci, and luxe stores now, but I'm not gonna knock it too much as I took full advantage and stocked up on my Nespresso pods while I was here. At least they still have JC Penny's. I was able to find a Miami Hurricanes shirt to bring back to my dad as a gift. They also have a Joe and the Juice store which I always stop by when I'm here and get a green tonic from them. I have to admit; I like how they revamped the food court so that its modern and has a wide variety of options. They even have a ramen kiosk! We also stopped by the new Eataly store, how can you not right? We didn't eat anything there, but I took advantage and bought some items they had priced on sale. In all honesty, I could see myself coming to Aventura often if I still lived in South Florida. I've always it made it a point to come here when I do visit and will probably continue to do so in the future.

We stayed at the Hyatt House before heading out on a cruise from Port Everglades... mainly because of the large amount of things to do nearby... enter Dania Pointe. Breakfast options. Cool places to sit outside and just enjoy the Florida sun. High end shopping to feel like you owned the place!!! Even just a simple strip lined with palm trees for beautiful views.. and selfies!! Dania Point is an oasis! They keep everything spotless. The landscaping is meticulous curated to keep the high end appearance too!
