I can't believe there's only one other review for Sunset, and that it's negative. I don't often write reviews but wanted to contribute my experiences with Sunset. We've been renting dvd's and blu-ray discs from Sunset for over two years, on a fairly regular basis. They have a pretty good selection, their staff is usually helpful, and we've only rarely had a scratch problem with a disc. There was one time where it seemed we got several "bad" discs in a row, but it turned out our player was going bad. Not Sunset's fault. The only reason I didn't give five stars is that it is sometimes a bit dingy inside, and occasionally there's a bored teenage clerk there who is not all that helpful or friendly. Very disappointing that this is the only video rental place in McCall. We once got 4 disks that skipped in a row and they never offer refunds, only another copy of the movie, which probably skips too. With the exception of a few employees the customer service is usually poor as well. The only reason it is still in business is because it is the only place to rent movies in town. You're better off with Netflix. read more

Rented the video I was looking for. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Nice place. We were in McCall on vacation and the house did not have any DVDs. I don't think Red Box has reached McCall yet so this place is important. Good central location. read more

The new owner, Jamie is willing to work with customers and make issues right. I really appreciate her efforts.
