This company has been a NIGHTMARE to deal with. Ordered 8 shades at Costco in Feb. Supposed to be free shipping to the house and instead, they sat in the UPS office until we called three weeks later and asked where they were. Only six shades were there, two were missing, one was damaged. We sent the bad one back and of this date, May 8th, have not received a replacement one or did the other two ever show up. Countless phone calls to Sunsetter. They tell you everything you want to hear, oh, so sorry, we'll fed ex out the missing ones right away. Nothing happens. Went to Costco and talked to the manager. We'll look into it attitude. So, compiling all our documentation for a call to the better business bureau and more. Totally disappointed in Costco and Sunsetter. HORRIBLE. read more

purchased an awning through their NJ authorized installer. Ordered a winter cover. Kept asking when do we get the cover. Installer at first said I'll come back in the fall and show you how to put it on. Called in the fall and they tried to say we already have it. Then they said it was being sent to us directly. Waited for it and then reached out again. Then they said SunSetter didn't send it because it is not compatible with the awning we ordered which has a cassette. Okay. Asked for credit on the cover we're no longer getting. Was told SunSetter is sending it anyway knowing we won't be able to use it. Called SunSetter and was told that's my problem to solve with the installer. they won't get involved. If you want a Sunsetter just buy it and find somebody you trust to install it. read more

This company has been a joke.They ordered the wrong size for one of our shades,so we had to wait 3 months for the right one.The install company was not friendly and did not care about the customers wishes.If I had to do it over sunsetter would not be my choice Gloria and her son from shades for less should not be in business. read more

Frustration after frustration. Its been over a month now and I still have yet to receive my product. I keep receiving the run around, and it takes their CS team a better halkf of 3 days to respond. Forget calling them. I would look elsewhere for an awning. read more

They finally sent me the 10' rail after I told them I wanted to return the awning. The experience was very frustrating.

These guys really failed me... they don't do their own installs... they ship you the product, and some local "pro" (read: buffoon) installs it... here's my story... they say it'll take 5 hours to install; 8 hours later they're wrapping up... less than a year later, the remote operation fails, and the 7 day a week call line basically tells you the same thing that's in the operator manual you were provided at installation and you've tried a dozen times so far... and of course, it still doesn't work... the provided solution is to send me a new motor... that of course, either I have to install or pay to have installed... and, the best yet, when I go to use the manual "crank" (that's the promised "fail safe" in case the remote fails), I find that the professional installation located the manual turnbuckle over the gutter so you can't reach it... three strikes... what's next to fail on this device?????.... read more
