If I had a choice in rating this business less than one star I would absolutely do that because I…read morejust took a cab from.Nobles trailer park in Caribou to Maine bag company around to Hannaford and back to Nobles and I was charged $23 for my ride. My ride was exactly 6 miles long in a complete circle with no direction change. Not one. Their expert reasoning behind charging me so much was called a " loop hole". In these trying times for everyone this kinda of exploitation is absolutely unacceptable behavior. For a ride that would've been barely $5 in gas this cab company is charging people excessive prices and coming up with some new kind of "logic" that less resembles common sense and more accurately resembles GREED. Shame on you Town Taxi !!! I can't speak for other people but this is one rider who will never get into another cab with the name Town Taxi on it. Truly shameful!! Might i add that as the driver was talking to hid dispatch that he talked about how customers are always just wanting the cheapest fare and how these young cab drivers fall victim to not charging this outrageous amount. Well I'll say one thing. I can guarantee that the tip amount this driver got was ZERO and maybe he could learn something about customer service from these so called " young" drivers!!

If the cars aren't nearby, it's hard to find anyone. Taxis have always been clean and the drivers have been kind There are no meters in the cabs. I don't know if the lack of meters is good or bad, but my guess is that it is to the company's advantage. Maybe they have a flat rate that I don't know about. My reason for the score as 3 is because they only take cash. Who carries cash these days? I guess taxi users of Aroostook County. Check me out with my big city mind judging the small town cab. :)
