I pre-bought my security system at Best Buy, and decided to have it professionally installed since I knew the cables it came with would be too short for my application and I didn't have the expertise on how best to install it. I called the recommended installer from an enclosed installnet card in the kit and they put me in touch with Suntech. Mike and David came out (all the way from Hayward to Modesto...Mad props for that haul) and I told them where I wanted the cameras installed and then they recommended where to put the DVR as well as a solution so that I could remotely watch the cameras on any of my TV's in my house. They also went over the software installation and adjusted all my cameras and setup the DVR to get the most space and use out of it while not cutting back on quality. They came, installed 7 out of 8 cameras (I told them I will keep the 8th as a spare) which required them to climb in my attic, climb in my garage attic, and install conduit and junction boxes. It looks *VERY* good and awesome. Mike and David even installed network drops so that I can remotely manage the system from any TV in the house as well as from Tablets and Phones and computers. Mike (owner, staff of ~8 technicians) is soft spoken, but very knowledgeable, a great listener, and will do his best to accommodate your security camera needs (with excellent recommendations/suggestions). He alone (backlog with new projects, and 2 techs on vacation) installed (uses CAT 6 cables for future proofing) 3 Dahua cameras (the PTZ wasn't easy, because of my chosen location) in the front of my home (took better part of the day, without his usual staff). There's a bit of a learning curve with the various software (Smart PSS, Gdmss plus, and NVR), if you want to take advantage of the functionality (PTZ especially) of the cameras. However, given the tremendous extra features, and CLARITY it was definitely a worthwhile "peace of mind" upgrade to my Arlo Pro 2 setup. Finally, if you do your "due diligence" like me, definitely consider having Mike as one of your free estimates. You likely will be VERY VERY pleasantly surprised how reasonable his rates are without any sacrifice in quality. I would recommend Mike WITHOUT hesitation, and will go with him again when 4K cameras become mainstream for home security (with CAT 6 cables in place, I'm good to go)! read more

Mike and his crew just completed an installation of a 10-Camera system I brought from Costco and they did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. They arrived on time with a team of 4 and got the job done quickly on the same day in a very satisfactory manner. They did not took any short cut by doing things in any easy/cheap way, but chose the harder way of routing wires through complicated attic with no wire visible from outside. Mike also helped me to add 4 other IP cameras into the same NVR and walked me through the step on how to operate them as a part of courtesy beyond his work scope. On a separate occasion, he came back helped me solved one of the technical issue that could not be solved by camera's manufacture Level-2 technical support - Mike certainly knows what he is doing! Mike and his team came and did a great job installing IP cameras after a break-in we had at our home. The only caveat is that we didn't have clear expectations about who would bring what equipment and we ended up spending more to come up with a solution--one that ultimately provides us with more (and needed) data redundancy. He was able to troubleshoot and fix my existing cameras which haven't worked for years. And he did a great job explaining everything they did as we did a final walk-through.
