Booked this hotel for our trip. Was pleasantly surprised as the person who checked us in was very friendly and the room was nice and extremely clean. While it is not the quietest place due to its location, there are several restaurants within walking distance and a WalMart is near by as well. Room service comes daily if you need it or not, which is nice (she was super friendly as well). Would definitely stay here again, as we visit the area every couple years. read more

Finally a VERY clean hotel. No musty odors or stains on carpets. This has to rate up there as one of the nicest hotel rooms I've been to in years and I've been to many. Nice front desk clerk. Tons of restaurants near by. Rates are very fair. Breakfast was satisfying and clean as well. read more

The rooms are nice, but if you arrive there in the evening, you have to call someone to come and check you in which they claim will be 2 minutes and it takes 30. After a long drive that's just not acceptable. read more

Stopped here after UofL game. We were Exhausted and the hotels in Indy were super overpriced. I booked on hotels.com and wasn't quite sure what to expect. I am somewhat a hotel snob so I should have know a motel would not meet my needs. We were greeted by a super nice young lady at the from desk. I was impressed she was busy cleaning windows when I arrived. She was super helpful and let us know there was breakfast served from 6-9am. We found our room and were out in 5 mins. No time to inspect room except to do our normal bed bug check. They do have the casing on the beds which was nice to know and allowed me to crash instantly. The next morning allowed me to check out the room. Stains on curtains, floor needed to be vacuumed and the bathroom was a handymans disaster. So things were sealed together and connected with caulk, it was everywhere. The toilet flushed super slow. Room really could have been cleaned again and the stairwell was filthy too. We did not eat the breakfast. Check out the Waffle House down the street, its the best one around. If you are a hotel person, don't be cheap. You get what you pay for! read more

As an entertainer, I travel a lot. When I'm traveling, I don't ask for much...a comfortable bed, a hot shower, decent WiFi, and that's about it. Super 8 in Columbus has all these. It's not fancy, and there are no frills, but we were in town to work, not to hang out in the hotel. We got a comfortable bed, decent WiFi to check our emails, and a good, hot shower. The room was clean, and although dated in decor, generally well cared for. It certainly fit our needs! read more

My grandparents stayed here on April 2, 2016 and when they entered their room, the toilet was full of poop. So much that they had to flush the toilet 3 times to take care of it. My grandpa went to the front desk and the agent told him to come back in the morning and the manager would make it right with him. In the morning, the manager simply said, "Well you got it cleaned out, right? And you slept in our bed all night right? So there's nothing I can do for you." That's some pretty terrible customer service. I don't care who did it; if someone other than the current guest leaves a giant deuce in the toilet, the housekeeping staff needs to clean it. And if they don't, the guest at least deserves an apology. Not impressed. read more

Not wanting to spend a lot of money on a pit stop on our way to a week-long vacation, this hotel's rates were good. Hotel room was good. Breakfast was good (eggs, waffles, biscuits & gravy, etc). The coffee was "blah", but it is hotel coffee. The night staff was very nice and hospitable. The day staff was busy cleaning rooms, hallways, etc and seemed annoyed that we were "in their way" when we walked by w our luggage, etc. In summary, the room and hotel was clean. Surrounding area was safe. The affordable night's rate matched my expectations of the hotel. read more

Not much to recommend here. The room was just barely ok, except when I went into the bathroom for the first time, there was a leftover styrofoam half filled coffee cup on the sink. After that, everything just seemed blah. Probably should have just asked for another room. The heater/ac unit was effective but really loud. Free breakfast?? Out of eggs, sausage, biscuits, milk. The toast was very good. Oh well. The people at the desk were nice. read more

Unfortunately, we used our hotel points to book this. We arrived at 8pm and the room was still being cleaned. There were lots of loiters all hanging out the side of the hotel which gave an uneasy feeling. Our room was on the 3rd floor and there were no elevators. The bathrooms were mildewed and the room had a bad odor. I wore socks (which were white) and they ended up dingy black on the bottoms from the carpet. Every time we took a shower, the fire detector went off. There were 2 toiletry items left laying on the counter and the towels were barely folded up on a shelf. Walking the hallways gives you the feel that the guests actually live there because they sit with their doors open and TVs going. Definitely not Wyndham standards. read more

OK... just stayed here... here is the good part... nice staff... clean room.. great location... here is the bad part.. the rooms wreak of either pets or cigarette smoke.. both of which are not allowed. Here is the worst part.. I went home at lunch around 12 and they were cleaning the rooms upstairs... had ALL the doors opened (all 20 or so rooms... as they were cleaning. Some rooms had people staying there.. luggage etc... someone could have just walked in and stole their stuff... my room included. The scary part is that sometimes I leave my laptop... I talked to the staff and found out the one that was cleaning the rooms was no other than the MANAGER. read more

If you are looking for a great place to stay on a way to a destination this is a good choice. Outside of Indianapolis it's in a decent neighborhood from what we could tell. Parts of the room seemed to have decor & bedding recently upgraded. The bedding was clean, TV worked & WiFi was fast. Bathroom was much smaller than expected (could have used updating) but seeing that we didn't need a huge place to get ready was adequate. Breakfast was "Carbohydrate Fest". It was what we had anticipated although we've had more & better/more choices at other Super 8's. We're always counting on the hot waffles & those were normal as expected. The room was a bit smaller than expected & wished there would have been a suitcase stand (although there wouldn't have been room to really put it anywhere). read more

We stayed here the night of 5th April. The front desk staff was helpful and pleasant. The rooms were fairly clean and offered direct tv. We asked for milk and cereal at 5:30 am in the morning and the staff was nice enough to start the breakfast early. Good to get a quick sleep while traveling through AR. read more
