I was there for work, and they cancelled my reservation assuming I wasn't there to assist with the floor efforts. They didn't notify me or even reach out to ask so when I got there to check in, I found out my reservation had been cancelled. I was supposed to stay there for a week and was only able to stay there for 3 days due to them replacing my reservation. On top of that, my reservation went from a single king bed to a room with 2 queens. Some people don't care about the bed but I was bummed about the downgrade. The second big issue is that there were mold spores growing in my bathroom. I asked for some kind of compensation due to this insufficient living standard and never received any sort of response back. Honestly the best part about the entire stay was the Belgian waffle maker during breakfast. I've told my employer about my recent stay and it seems like my company will most likely be making reservations at the hotel across the street from now on.

Well let get the positives out the way…read more I've stayed 3 nights in 3 separate rooms. The beds were comfortable and for the most part seemed clean. I had an issue with my TV the first night and they promptly came up and took care of it.... Now the negatives! 1st night 1st room I walked into the bathroom flipped the light and saw a cockroach running across the floor. 2nd night 2nd room I was in a room on the far south side of the motel. The wifi was non existent. 3rd night 3rd room I tried to get some water from the sink just to find the water didn't work at all. It's quite upsetting when you have to go buy a $1 can of soda instead of just having a glass of water. With all that being said for the most part I would say that if I needed a cheap room I would stay again. But, if I had the money to stay elsewhere I most definitely would.

This country inn is located on Highway 71 and is very hard to miss since it is painted pink and has a wonderful country quilt pattern painted on the barn.
