Ambience- cute decor very small and table close together service- not great, seemed like they only had two servers for the whole restaurant. To sign in they have a clipboard outside that you're supposed to sign in to. Weird. No host to let you know of wait times or anything. Food- Not impressed. Chips and salsa with a side of beans come out. Beans and salsa were pretty good, some chips were crunchy and delicious others were hard and stale. I ordered a molcajete with shrimp chicken and asada. It did come out piping hot (after about 20+ min) Shrimp was okay, chicken was DRY and bland, asada was also dry and bland, no seasoning at all!! only thing i liked was the queso fresco and salsa at the bottom of the molcajete. My kids got the chapman burrito which was okay but sort of small for the price. I honestly didn't eat my meal, it was so dry i felt like i was trying to chew on beef jerky. Not impressed and will not return, which sucks because i had such high hopes based on Instagram videos i've seen :( read more

The worst Mexican restaurant ever, my wife and I went for the first time we ordered a rajas tamal , lengua tacos , chile verde taco and a la diabla pechuga de pollo . The tamal taste old it was hard to chew it looked like plastic, the lengua had not flavor and the chicken was also hard to chew, I hope the owner reads this review and realizes what horrible food he serves. read more

By far the best Mexican food on the planet. The Chapman burrito is out of this world. The owner is the chef there and she is genius at her craft. A true artist. The spices and seasonings are absolutely perfect. They give you a plate of refried beans with your chips and most amazing homemade thick chili sauce that goes with everything. Super Antojitos in Orange: Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Let me begin by stating that I do not write reviews lightly and couldn't write this review fast enough. Also, we are very picky about Mexican food and would prefer to make our own over enduring the disappointment of what restaurants typically call "Mexican food". Well, Chef Laura has changed that for us and now we can actually dine out and ENJOY deliciously authentic Mexican food with an exciting Chef Laura twist! Chef Laura was very attentive and you can tell that she takes SO much pride in her passion for food. We enjoyed the deliciously flavorful Chapman burrito and Chapman Chilaquiles in this casually quaint restaurant. Typically my husband and I are very talkative at our meals but we noticed that this time we were eating very slowly, savoring every bite, and didn't speak very much because we didn't want to miss out on the flavorful experience. The experience felt like you were visiting family and Chef Laura was the host that wanted to make sure that you were well taken care of! We came to eat breakfast for my great grandmothers birthday and our waiter was VERY RUDE. We kindly asked for no cotija cheese on our beans and he did bring out another plate, we then ordered our food and waited for our drinks. He brought out coffee and took awhile to bring our creamer due to him talking to a couple that walked in AFTER us that he knew. After my grandma asking him to did bring creamer but seemed upset we asked for it. He then brought out food for the couple he knew while we still waited for ours even though he came before them. He began to sit and talk with the couple as we waited for our food.. then he got up and asked the cook in the back for our food. When he did brought over our food a plate was dirty, we mentioned it and he grabbed the plate then walked over to the cook and said out loud in Spanish "oh looks like they said your plates are dirty" the cook then began to chuckle and grabbed the plate. Overall he seemed annoyed, and he just wanted to hang out with the couple that came in and ordered after us, he never came to ask us if we needed anything else. Before paying we did mention everything that concerned us, he again got upset and walked away from us. He did compensate two of our meals because we did not eat them. We were headed to the Hilbert museum and stopped here for a bite to eat. The service was something to be desired. We were seated right away but they never came with chips and salsa. Took a while to take order. Forgot our tortillas, no silverware. We had to ask for everything. Even the to go container she forgot. My husband had to get up and have someone else get it for us. The restaurant looked traditional and the beans were great but service really ruined it. We really wanted to like this place. read more

DISCRIMINATION AT ITS FINEST!! So i went to eat here 2 weeks ago, and its the second time i come here but thats enough for me to never come back, as most mexicans restauratns do when you come in, they sit you down, give you some chips and salsa or in this case beans. And it was at most 3 tables with 2 people each, so i expected fast good service as it was not busy. The girl still took time to take my order and whats worse, she never once offered me the chips and beans, it was cool with me, i though, maybe its because im a single person, but still weird, yes im mexican myself, most of my tike dinning out is mexican restaurants, but guess what, some white guy came in, and they forgot about me, and went straight to the dude, sat him down with some chips and beans, i was furious, i should of told the staff if they discriminating or what because thats unfair‍, and even then i kept looking to see if theyd bring me my opening dish but no, the girl just asked me what i wanted to eat, wait tome for food about 15 min, and still, the food tasted like everything was front cans, beans like those canned refired beans, rice, well... little kids can probably do better rice than they do here, and the milanesa i had, i dont think ive ever had a milanesa so bad it was even hard to chew, more like a laffy taffy, i asked for extra tortillas and again, she didnt bring me the stuff i asked for, but let the white dude get the best service right, yeah im for sure gonna tell people how bad they are discriminating towards their own people, and to kot eat here‍ hopefully the owner sees this so he tells those workers to get their s together. 0 stars if possible read more

This place rules. I was just driving by last night and the GF and I decided to give it a shot. Brought out chips with a small plate of AMAZING beans to start with our beer. Got an chicken enchilada suiza, beef taco, and and a wet burrito to really get a good idea of their food. It was all fantastic. I live down the street, this will be my new go-to. read more

This restaurant just opened a couple weeks ago. I noticed it as I drove by & was super excited to have a Super A's right in our neighborhood! (Chapman & Parker) I ordered the carne Asada burrito (just meat & cheese) it didn't disappoint! Pure deliciousness! This restaurant & bar is cozy & clean. First time trying this new Mexican restaurant. Started with traditional margaritas which were very good. I ordered the carne asada torta sandwich and it was the best I've ever had. Saw this place on tik tok and let me tell you...superb from the margaritas, to the salsa, carne asada tacos to and the stellar Chapman burrito. All of it super tasty and flavorful. I can't wait to return! There was a bit of a wait but they called us quicker than anticipated, but we didn't mind with all the nearby sights in Old Towne and their boutique next door.
