For Christmas I gave my Nana a cross-stitch I had worked tirelessly on for a long time. I brought it with me to QLD from SA in my luggage with the intention of getting it framed on the Gold Coast on my arrival. I googled framers on the Gold Coast and I'm so glad that Super Cheap Framing was on top of the list. My Nana and I were blown away with the courteous service and down-to-earth advice from the owner. He wasn't there to rip us off, over quote or upsell. In fact his prices were far lower than any framing I've had done here in SA. The quality was amazing, complete with hanging hook and double matting, and very professionally finished. Knowing that I was back off to SA within a few days, the owner John completed the job within 24 hours. I was gobsmacked and so pleased to be able to see the finished product. We've been clients for a few years and have been left feeling hurt and cheated after John adamantly and rudely wouldn't accept responsibility for an error with one of our frames. Such a shame. We strongly don't recommend John, if anything, it's super 'cheated' framing. read more

History

Established in 1990.

Started off in James Street Burleigh Heads retail was so poor decided to start picture framing as the interest was there, I'm an ex-draftsman from telecommunications in UK always loved the Arts with a passion. Moved from James St.1997, Into a small warehouse, the turning point for me was to sell only from stock, at a great price the business started to grow, moved to Palm Beach in 2000 a small retail premises, outgrew there, Moved two doors down this was on 7th avenue to double the size premises again out-grown the business area, think I got it right now have an area of 156sq on Township Drive Burleigh Heads. Still love what I do. In between I got married and have two amazing children both Boys. With the hardships the up and downs life is something special even more so when you love your work with a passion.
