Shopped here twice while visiting CDMX because it was walking distance to our vacation rental…read more First visit was for a few essential items like water, juice, fruits, etc. We shopped without incident. Then we went for a second trip to get a bottle of wine and laundry detergent a couple of days later. During our second visit we picked up the wine first then went over to the laundry detergent aisle. As we turned to walk up to the register we noticed that the bottle of wine we had placed inside of the cart was gone. Apparently one of the store employees came over to where we were and removed it from our cart while our backs were turned as we were selecting laundry detergent. I went and picked up another bottle and then headed to the register. I asked the cashier why that was done and she said they thought someone had just left it there. That's a bunch of bs because the cart was right next to us! If that was the case, why not remove the entire cart? Makes no sense at all. I noticed a few of the employees whisking around the store with radios in their hands behaving as if someone was in the store shoplifting as we made our way to the register. It felt very racist! I don't recommend shopping here because there was absolutely no reason for them to behave in such a manner.

This store has such an enormous selection it definitely took us some time to figure it out. In the end, we decided on the Rocca de Forti quite wine, as well as, a bottle of the Moet & Chandon champagne. We also got two boxes of San Andrés coco bares. We could have kept going but I think that we have more than enough locations for four people. This store is quite nice, and they even have an adjoining restaurant. There is also an actual grocery store that has a deli and bakery which was nice as well. There were two employees who helped us pick out the correct Champaign and they were really great too.
