2nd visit (March 2026) today, and just as fun as my first. Wish there was a video of people's reaction entering Mario World. You can see who has visited before and those who are visiting for the first time. So much to see! Although you could visit without a Power-Up band, I highly encourage kids and Nintendo lovers to have purchase and utilize them for the games and rides. (My 1st visit was June 2024)

Mario World is really fun to look at and honestly feels like you walked straight into a video game. The atmosphere is on point and if you grew up with Nintendo, it hits the nostalgia button hard. I do enjoy it overall, especially since I have a season pass. I had dinner at Toad's restaurant and I'll give credit where it's due. The atmosphere and customer service were great. Super cute inside and the staff was friendly. That said, the food itself wasn't that great and definitely overpriced for what you get. Most of the games require you to buy a Power Up Band which is around $60. You don't really get anything from it besides collecting points and seeing your score, so keep that in mind before buying into it. It does get very crowded and tight, and the wait times can be a lot for what the main ride offers. Still, I enjoyed Mario World as a whole and I'm glad I experienced it. I just wouldn't recommend it unless you plan ahead and know what you're getting into.

For the amount of visitors, this part of the theme park can feel like a really tight squeeze, I recommend to bring all of your patience if you venture here. Super Nintendo World is where your kiddos (or you) will want to use the Mario Power Up Band, it's interactive and easy to spot areas where you can tap band without standing in a line to square off in a game. You will also find the Toadstool Cafe, a shop, restrooms, sitting areas that are always taken, you can meet and take photos with Mario and Luigi, Princess Peaches and ride Mario Kart Bowers Challenge. The Mario Kart Ride always has a wait time well beyond 60 minutes. Prepare to walk up some stairs, down more stairs, walk inside and outside- while in line. Is the ride worth the long wait? In my opinion, not really. It's fun but I wish the ride lasted longer. It's fun to see and experience in the evening.. when the crowd of people is not so heavy.

I finally had the chance to visit Super Nintendo World during my Universal Studios Hollywood visit. Before heading into the park, we peeked inside a Nintendo store in Universal City Walk. We found these wrist bands that are interactive with different areas of Nintendo World. We bought four and paid an average of about $30 each band. You're able to link your band to your Universal Studios app and keep track of all the coins you collect. There's also a feature to sync your coins to your Nintendo Switch, but I haven't figured that out yet. My nieces and nephew had bands too and we had a blast going through Nintendo World collecting keys and coins. There are several different stations where you can collect keys to unlock Bowser Junior's Lair and recover the golden mushroom. The staff explains the objective at each station and the lines for these have a short wait. The world is small but it's so fun. The Bowser's Challenge ride is a must do. The line is very long and moves along slowly because guests are shuffled into a room where the game is explained before getting onto the ride. Luckily we had express passes so we waited about 15 minute, but the morning wait times for the standby line ran about 75 minutes. I recommend doing this ride first because the wait time climbed to over 125 minutes throughout the day. Granted it was a Saturday, but I imagine this is a daily trend.

Maybe two years since they open Nintendo World and I am amazed how many people still come to visit still. Staff members have always been super friendly, helpful and kind. Activities through the world for the kids and obviously photo ops with the characters. Wait time for the ride is sometimes insane but I think it's worth it more than any other rides. Toadstool Cafe added also special drinks fon their menu for the holidays such as the Super Mario Snowman Cocoa (delicious)

Awesome time visiting Super Nintendo World! We all walked through the green pipe and were all in amazement. It was like walking into the game! Unfortunately a two hour wait with several children was not feasible, we hope to return another time to experience the ride.

Entering to Super Nintendo World transfer you into the Mushroom Kingdom world in Super Mario bro video game trilogy. I felt in a real life video game simulation being Mario or Lugi and the other character of the game. Everything is fun and play game and earn point and keys to move to other level it's like the game. After the excitement go to Toadstool Cafe to try out the cuisine like a Mario or Lugi burger and other delicious items. You will have fun there.

It's like waking into the video game!!!! So cool and colorful! Mario Cart: Bowsers challenge is so fun and 100% interactive. 10/10 cool spot to checkout and dine, too.

Let nostalgia run free, this place checks most every darn box possible when reliving the late 80's and early 90's. (Showing my age ‍) anyways. Coming here definitely be prepared to drop a BAG!!! Nothing is cheap lol. After all. It is Universal Studios. Line que's are long as ever as expected. But while your waiting in that dreadful thing. You're totally immersed in the land of giant mushrooms, biting piranha plants and tunes to make you want to destroy some brick cubes and just go nuts in the most fun way possible. Staff is super nice and informative from my experience. Food is Meh but'll get you through. Just do your self a favor and don't go on a semi hot to hot day. lol frfr. Also I'd highly advise the fast pass. It pretty much will come I. Clutch if you wanna really get in and out to full enjoy your experience.. I'd love to say more but I'm on the move and I'll be sure to update more later tah taaa!!!

Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios-Hollywood is located in the lower lot of the park. I was super excited to finally get to see it, after seeing so many videos online. It's actually really small lol but still super cute & nostalgic. We didn't really have much time to do any of the interactive games but did get the chance to hop in line at Bowser's Challenge which was ~1 hr wait. It was a bit underwhelming but I guess this one is much smaller compared to Orlando's & Japan's Nintendo World. Overall, this was my least favorite part of the park.

    Ryan S.

Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood is like stepping straight into a video game, and I mean that in the best way possible. The colors are so bright it feels like everything was rendered in HD, and the sound effects follow you wherever you go. Blocks bop, coins chime, and suddenly you're fully committed to wearing a Power-Up Band and punching question marks with your wrist. The land isn't huge, but it's packed with detail and fun little surprises if you slow down and explore. Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge is visually impressive and way more complicated than I expected in the best possible way. The lines can get long, but if you're a fan of Nintendo or just want a hit of pure nostalgia, it's absolutely worth visiting. I left feeling like a very proud grown-up child.

The ambiance is 5/5! No doubt The fun factor is 4/5! The ride is 4/5 Overall 4/5!! Their decor all around is out of this world Into Mario world literally! Come see ! Wait times not even bad on a week day visit! We still got the express and all rides were wall right in, felt like a VIP without paying VIP lol.

I have been to Nintendo World many times since they first opened. The first time I stepped inside, I was instantly transported back to my childhood, filled with nostalgia and excitement. As a kid, I loved my Super Nintendo, and Nintendo World truly brought that joy to life. This part of the part is always really busy, so I recommend going there first when you arrive. You can purchase a power-up watch that grants you points and enhances your experience in the area. Additionally, you can take pictures with some of the Super Mario characters. The ride itself is really fun. While I do wish the goggles weren't as heavy, the virtual reality setting immerses you in the Mario Kart game. As you race through the game, you'll earn coins, just as in the game. The park and ride area is decorated with fantastic decorations that really make you feel like you're inside the game. Overall, Nintendo World is a must-visit, especially if you love Super Mario.

We were given tickets to enter the park all day. Free parking and a meal voucher to use uncertain foods throughout the park. We had choices, which was very nice. The chaperone lounges were stocked with drinks, snacks, and coffee to use starting at 7 PM. They also had massage chair chairs that you could sign up for in the lounges. The park had a lot of fun Rides, shows an events for dancing. It was the perfect day if you wanted to go and relax or join in on all the fun. I highly recommend grad bash for any high school looking for a place for their seniors to celebrate.

We had a disability access pass which takes planning to set up but is doable. Unlike Disney, the access pass is still a piece of cardstock you need to carry around (Knotts is similar) which can be a learning curve when the world (and Disney...) have all figured out the digital app experience way better. Our first ride at 9:45 was the Harry Potter castle and it only had a 5 min wait. My ongoing pet peeve with Universal is their locker system which is a time waster and added expense. We have figured out that using rider switch at some rides can help drop the irritating need for a locker but for this first ride we hadn't caught on to this notion yet. The ride is cool but the 3D swinging made all the adults a little nauseous (we should have had a more substantial breakfast but also aging can take a well balanced seasoned rider down a notch in parenthood). This ride does a great job of decor and entertainment in line but please turn the lights up; I'm not that old yet but coming into the dark from the sun is hard to adjust too and it's a trip hazard waiting to happen. We went on the Hippogryph (sp?) ride next and that was our first use of access pass so we did wand shopping while we waited. The ride is over before it begins. For a park with so few outdoor coasters I am sad to see how short this was. I imagine this park has just simply limited space to build rides so this one was built small (and as a quick ride) by comparison to its FL counterparts. We all walked away miffed that we had barely rode it before we were getting off! In brief: Mummy was a great ride; Transformers was cool; character sightings were cute; the water ride was a SOAKER and our front row people had a foot of water over their shoes effectively creating a dismal afternoon to slog through (and even one person had a poncho but pants and shoes were still watered through). Mario land was cute though the ride was confusing and unclear as a first go. Minions was cute. Lots of indoor 3D/4D (sensory) rides. Food is limited and meh. Park and spaces were clean. There's not quite enough seating, shade or water bottle fill stations. Staff were good: kind and helpful. Waterworld was missed because they don't run enough. Parking was a minimum $40 and then a walk. And Studio Tour was great: this is the belle of the Ball at this theme park! It's about an hour but it's worth it and a great way to sit and mellow out while learning about different movies and shows from history to present! And it has some cute surprise experiences! The park is kind of boring overall. Which is sad to say. I think the silver lining of that though is not feeling like you have to rush everywhere; it can be a more chill experience. But then we had a lot of down time waiting and there was not enough entertainment or distraction for the kids. We are curious to see how the new Fast and Furious ride pans out though as it was going through test runs while we were there and it is quite a deviation from their current experience offering!

The attention to detail throughout the entire area is incredible, from the architecture and music to the little interactive elements hidden throughout the land. Even if you're not a huge Harry Potter fan, it's still an experience worth visiting because the atmosphere alone is so immersive. One of the best parts was how well the staff stayed in character and interacted with guests. Team members were friendly, helpful, and did a great job managing the crowds, especially around the more popular attractions and shops. Even when the area became busy, employees kept lines organized and answered questions without seeming rushed. The rides were definitely the highlight. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey was one of the most impressive theme park rides I've experienced. The wait time can get long very quickly, especially in the afternoon, so I highly recommend going early in the day if possible. Universal's app was helpful for checking ride times throughout the day. Flight of the Hippogriff had a shorter wait but was still fun, especially for families or anyone wanting a lighter ride experience. Food and drinks are expensive, but honestly the themed snacks and Butterbeer are part of the experience. Butterbeer is a must-try at least once. The frozen version was my favorite, especially in the California heat. Seating around the food areas fills up fast during peak hours, so timing your meals earlier or later than normal lunch times can help avoid crowds. The shops inside Hogsmeade were extremely detailed, but they do get packed. Ollivanders was one of the busiest areas during my visit, and there was a wait to get inside. If you want an interactive wand experience, be prepared for the wands to be pricey, but the interactive spell locations throughout the land make it more fun and worth it for fans. One thing visitors should know is that this area gets crowded very quickly, especially midday and during weekends or holidays. Taking photos can sometimes require patience because there are constantly people walking through the main pathways. Early mornings and evenings seemed to be the best times for photos and shorter lines. Overall, this was one of the most immersive themed areas I've visited at any park. Universal did an amazing job bringing the Harry Potter world to life, and it truly feels like an attraction you could spend hours exploring. Definitely worth adding to your Universal Studios Hollywood visit.

The stores have souvenirs and snacks galore and kids of all ages (including me) can enjoy walking through shops and riding the rides.
