I've been coming here for almost 8 years (2017) and always get the same Asian sub ... the BEST sandwich I've ever had, nothing else compares. The owners are the sweetest and truly put love into every bite. I'm always bragging about this spot, and everyone I send has the same reaction: "This is insanely good." It's tucked away in a small area, and the door is usually locked (just knock, they'll let you in). I recommend calling ahead to order. It's almost like a sandwich speakeasy and 100% worth it. I always grab extra for later because it's that good. A true hidden gem

LOW-QUALITY & UNDERCOOKED... it pains me to write this review as the couple inside were super sweet and adorable. However, the food was NOT good. I ordered a meatball sub and it was barely warm, the cheese was not melted, and it ultimately gave me an ick factor. The sandwich bread was semi-cheap, Subway is vastly superior to this place in every way. I could honestly get better bread at the local grocery store. As for sandwich selections, they're very limited. They have an Asian-inspired sandwich but the ingredients looked sad. Also, even though I came in before some guy and placed my order before him, they made his food first! I was a little confused and irritated.

Got a pastrami sandwich and mocha ice coffee so good! The owners there are so nice and have wonderful customer service.

Stopped here on our way through. We ordered the Asian sub and a Turkey Pastrami. Both were absolutely AMAZING!!! We loved the way both sandwiches complimented each other in terms of flavor, and crunchiness vs creaminess. Delicious and highly recommended. The owners, Diane and Ben, were so kind! They were only open that day for take out, so we were the only customers in there. We had a lovely conversation with them as they prepped our food. Such a great experience, highly recommended!!

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and felt welcomed. The owners recommended the Asian sandwhich which was a 10/10. Had a nice spicy kick to it and very flavorful. I also ordered a turkey club sandwich which was delicious as well. We walked in and placed our order and was out the door in under 7 min. Great place to grab a quick yummy lunch.

This place is a diamond in the rough. I tried the Asian sandwich based on so many great reviews here and it did not disappoint. Totally unique flavors! Only one problem. They are two hours from my home. 1) Very good food. 2) Very accommodating. I have food allergies, they took great care of me. 3) I had the Asian Sandwich. Excellent. 4) Wife had the vegetarian, loved it. Highest recommendation. So sad they are so far. read more

A couple months back we passed through this quite little city searching for a good sandwich shop and we got lucky finding Super Sub! I ordered a meatball sandwich but when I realized they had pastrami my meatball was ready. The wife said she would make me a pastrami on the house so I can taste it and she cut it on 3 pieces so I can share.....I did not share because it was delicious!! I like plain old mustard, pickle on my pastrami and Super Sub dockers it up so much that it should be so wrong but it was SOOOO GOOOOD! The husband and wife team are awesome and offer great customer service and they clearly value their customer with conversation and jokes when many business' have forgotten to do. read more

Yelp brought us here, the customer service (and of course delicious food) will bring us back. The Asian was our favorite. Cuban was also good. The perfectly crusty fresh bread was the highlight of the sandwich. They have limited hours so check ahead of time. Definitely worth the stop, especially if you love finding hidden gems. read more

A hidden treasure! The owners are so sweet and welcoming! I was worried that all the 5 stars were a result of customers liking the family, but the sandwiches are delish! The Asian reminded me of a bahn mi (which I love) and these were as good if not better because of their special sauce. Highly recommended! We will stop ever time we pass through. read more

I visited Super Subs for the first time today. What a wonderful hidden gem in Banning. The owners, Ben and Diana were amazingly kind and gracious. I also got to meet 3 of their daughters. The family made you feel so welcome and like part of the family, The restaurant is clean and immaculate. They have an outdoor seating area with a gorgeous fireplace they've installed recently. It's worth getting off the freeway to check this place out. They are right next to City Hall. read more

I am so glad I stopped here. The reviews are spot on. The owners are so sweet, friendly, and caring! I ordered the turkey club with everything on it and it was the best every. What a great spot! We stopped here after shopping at the Cabazon outlets. We got the Asian sandwich and an Italian sandwich--both were amazing! Some of the best sandwiches we have ever had! Great flavor, great proportions, great bread. Additionally, the couple that owns the shop is so sweet, very warm and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and go there now! read more

Okay, to be honest I've never actually been to the shop, but I know Bridget is the most dedicated and loving person that I know in all of San Diego, so I am beyond grateful to know her. She rants all the time about how great the shop is and how much it means to the entire family and the passion and sacrifice for keeping family close as can be. We were on our way to Joshua Tree and stopped in because of Yelp reviews from others. It's definitely the best place to stop in this small town. Check it out--they are super friendly and have great sandwiches AND Thai iced teas which are really hard to find in this area. So if you're driving through and need lunch, this is the place. read more

My wife and I heard good things about this place so we went in there and tried it today I was not impressed at all I had a barbecued beef sandwich with cheese and it was the worst thing I have ever tasted in my life I had to throw it away my wife sandwich was good but the barbecue beef was terrible the people that work in there are really nice people it's a shame but I haven't seen anybody outside here put a review about the barbecue beef I won't be going back. read more

On our way from PHX to LA and looking for lunch. Read the reviews and decided to give this place a shot. And holy jeez were we not disappointed!! AMAZING sandwiches! I had the Italian and the hubs had a turkey and pastrami. Both were SO good. The bread is delish - I often try to leave some bread to cut out my carb intake, but it was so good, I ate every last bite! And the service is amazing. These are the type of Mom and Pop shops everyone should support. I HIGHLY recommend!! read more

Hidden Gem in Banning. Boyfriend and I stopped after a short day at the Aerial Tramway in Palm Springs. Just a bit off the 10 W. We were greeted by a small shop, and the two nicest store owners you'll ever meet! The walls are covered in photos of the Owner's family. The sandwiches are simple but made with incredible love. We split a Turkey Sandwich on white. No olives no pepperchinis no onion. They did the olives on the side. Simple & tasty. We washed it down with cold Mexican cokes. The owners are attentive and ask about life. I love spending my money at mom and pop shops, and this place is definitely worth it. You won't regret coming here! read more

This place is amazing! My wife and I came here on a Saturday 10 minutes before they closed. Usually any other place would turn you away or give you an attitude while serving you. Not super subs! They were very welcoming and even turned the lights back on for us. Our sandwiches were sooo good. I got the super sub with turkey and roast beef which was amazing. My wife got the turkey club and she loved it. One of the owners told us to get one of their specialty items next time. She said we can get our same sandwiches at subway lol! So next time I'll try the Asian club. Overall great place and we'll definitely be back again. read more

This was the first time I have ever stopped in the city of Banning ,and it was just to get a sandwich built by the coolest couple ever!!! When you walk in you are greeted as if you are family and have been gone for a while. (Remember I have never been here before) The sandwiches are real man!!! Fresh rolls and exciting themed sandwiches like the Asian. The owners go out of their way to please. I love this place!!! read more

I love this place! First came here in 2008 when I was working next door in the old courthouse. Amazed one day when my partner came back with a Cuban sandwich which he gave me half of. It was fantastic! Happy to see they are still in business with the same menu. The owners are super nice and friendly, I will have to make a trip there just for a Cubano soon! read more

I was craving a sandwich and the reviews here on yelp help me make decision. I'm glad I listened. The Asian chicken sandwich was out of this world. You can tell when somebody puts their heart into food and this sandwich definitely was made from the heart. Picked carrots and jalapeños are just the start. I highly recommend stopping by. We drove from San Diego to visit the Pinball Museum in Banning and wanted to have lunch first. What a great find. A family owned sandwich shop that makes their own fresh bread. Don't let the older building dissuade you. There were 6 of us and we all loved our choices. Very fresh. read more

Located in a small food court part of the outlet in Cabazon, we got large Cajun fries ($7.99) to…read moreshare. There was a line, and I had to wait a little less than ten minutes. The lady at the cash register and man at the pickup counter were both friendly. There's also free refills for fountain drinks. The fries were ready in a few minutes and came overflowing in a large cup put inside a paper bag. They tasted really flavorful and mostly had a soft texture. Five Guys, in general, is more costly than other fast food restaurants, but we didn't have much options in the food court. I liked the fries, and we had a good amount each to share.

I was on my way to Phoenix, for a weekend trip and ........Wow. What a hole in wall. When I came up I knew this was gonna be a winner. Two black and whites parked outside. Cops eat out a lot and they get picky. We tried the pastrami, Asian sandwich and a BBQ beef sandwich. They are all my favorites. When we jumped back on the Road, My son told me in that stopping at little places like this is the whole point in traveling. Lmao. He is 13. When we got to Phoenix 5 hours later, he told me we need to stop at super subs on our way home. The owner was so friendly and hospitable. She had me laughing as we chatted. Her husband was fantastic also. Both of them are so kind and generous. I wish they would move closer to me. This place will be a required on every road trip that passes this stretch of road for the rest of my days. read more

Where do I begin? This was my first time at Super Subs and it will not be my last, when you first walk in it's very small location but do not let that fool you, the customer service was the best the couple working were so friendly and welcoming to my friend and I and I felt positive energy in the air. Now the food... the food was so amazing it put me in a state of euphoria when i took my first bite. I ordered the cubano and the Asian sub for my friend and I I was excited because he wouldn't stop raving about this place and with reason the food was so good I HAD to go back and order another sub because it was that immaculate. The sandwiches here are the best in town!!! Every time I come in the owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. They take the time to get to know their customers and create a personal relationship. It's a small little shop, locally owned and operated. I have been coming here for years and tried a few different sandwiches. I absolutely love everything I have tried. Just had the spicy Asian sub again after a long time and it was sooo good . I had not been there for a while and I forgot how good it was . Nice warm and taste so fresh with great flavor . They appeared to be close for a while so I had forgot but the door does say open for take out now . Very easy I was able to call and have my order ready for pick up . This sandwich shop is really good, when i am on my busness trip i make sure to stop by and grab the Asian sandwhich. The oweners are very kind, it feels like i am at their home as a guest. The bread is very soft in the center with a nice flaky "crunch" on the outside. read more
