We skipped lunch at the 'House of Lechun' because the Yelp reviews all had low stars. The negative was that we don't get a tour guide like some other tours to provide to you as an option. The Island hopping tour doesn't compare to the ones I took at El Nido or Boracay. The tour guy didn't speak English and my girlfriend had to do all the interpretations and information on where we were at and suppose to do, There were fewer islands and sandbars to see, the fish and coral were less colorful, and the food was not as good and was cooked hours before you ate it. The transportation was a plus since they pick you up and drop you back at your hotel on Mactan Island or in Cebu City.

While they can be strict at the entrance when checking tickets, I was overall impressed with service throughout. A helpful airport porter helped us with our luggage and check in, making sure we were well taken care of. I also thought found the staff at the STARLUX counter to be accommodating and helpful. The airport is clean, organized and stress free. I enjoyed exploring the shopping areas and eateries, which made the wait time pleasant. Overall Mactan-Cebu International Airport left a positive impression.

It seems like everybody has issues when they get up to the counter. The airport is not comfortable: the airport lack air conditioning in some areas and other areas it is working poorly. The seating is very limited, especially around the gates. More seating is available in the food area but you will end up smelling like food when you leave. The airport does have a lot of places to eat and shops. The shops are not too exciting but you can find cosmetic stores, nick knacks, mango shops and more. Enough to keep you busy for a while. The airport does have free wi-fi too.

What I love about the hotel was the location. It's so near Ayala Center you just need to cross the street, walk down the underground path (it's a jeepney terminal) and then when you come out of the it, voila, Ayala Center! The rooms are spacious with two single beds, a small round table with two chairs, a closet, and a rather huge bathroom. The hotel has all your basic grooming needs covered as they provide bath and dental kits. Wifi inside is free but limited only to two users so if there's more of yoy inside, the other one would have to use data or try out the free 30 minute wifi. It's speedy but could be unreliable as there are times it was agonizingly slow. The hotel staff are courteous and very efficient. Everyone seems genuinely happy you're there and go above and beyond what is required to ensure you have a great stay. Check out the pool at the 6th floor, the view from the lounge area is amazing. The pool in itself is rather small but for just php1500/night, it's definitely a steal. I suggest you look them up and book online for discounts. You'll definitely have a great stay at the hotel. The third-party payment site used by the hotel's reservation system would not accept several of my credit cards. These have successfully been used overseas in the past. Also, while the hotel accepts American Express, the payment site does not. Transfer For 1050PHP, I opted for the hotel transfer. Although my flight was delayed an hour, the pickup occurred without a hitch. Due to issues with Grab during my stay, I also booked the airport transfer for the same fee. Check In Check in occurred without issues. There was a wait as there were only two check in desks. Most importantly, I got my room key around 2pm, an hour before the posted check in time. Housekeeping During my stay, housekeeping was exceptional. Several times, I needed an item from the vanity kit. The following morning, housekeeping left an unopened vanity kit while leaving the opened kit in the bathroom. The room was pre-stocked with a bottle of filtered water. As I had opened but not emptied the bottle, another full bottle was left in the room. Club Room Unfortunately, the club room was not properly stocked with soda. Often, either soda water or regular coke was not stocked in the cooler. I would need to ask staff if there were any left. The soda was in the supply room. Misto Restaurant Breakfast at the restaurant was the biggest disappointment. Many times, I would be seated at a table not properly setup. When I looked around, none of the tables were. When I notified the hostess, the situation was not resolved the following day and was never. The staff lacked training. On the occasions I would submit an egg order, I had to flag an employee to accept it. On my last day, I did not bother. Ayala Center The hotel shares a parking garage with the mall. On rainy days, you can get wet walking through the garage. The covered walkway between the hotel and garage prevented getting wet. Security Metal detectors were situated at both the front and parking garage entrances. My suitcases were scanned, as well as, shopping bags and backpacks whenever I entered the hotel.

The hotel amenities include: pool, restaurant, business center, fitness center, laundry service, car rentals, and a rooftop bar. Daily breakfast buffet was included in our accommodation, offering both continental and filipino breakfast food items. Although they have an impressive variety of food choices, they served the same foods every day we were there. Pro Tip: Bar offers Happy Hour Buffet is between 6AM-10AM daily, Come early on the weekends as this place gets overcrowded, and they have a waitlist! Overall, I would come back and stay in Seda. Definitely recommend this hotel!

We found this place out of desperation to be near the center of town during Sinulog. We were…read moredisappointed that there was no pool, but even more because there is no hot water in the bathroom and the water pressure is very low, the beds have no sheets, and the pillows have no pillowcases. The room oddly has coffees cups but no coffeemaker. The toilet wouldn't flush because the tank had no water. The workers said it was because we had used toilet paper! They finally got the tank to fill, but now it won't stop running and is leaking at the base. Update: We complained to booking.com and they appear to have intervened on our behalf. The following day the hotel moved us to a better room: nice beds and bedding, a recliner, a working bathroom with hot water, and aesthetically pleasing as well. I was overjoyed to have a hot shower and give my feet a good cleaning; sandals + Cebu City = crazy dirty feet. The room reservation does include breakfast...went to that this morning after a bad night in room 608. Outside of the breakfast area they also have photographers to take free "souvenir" pictures, which we declined. Now that we are feeling happier, maybe we'll reconsider photos another morning during our stay. At least we will be able to smile!

This hotel is a very large resort. The resort offers multiple pools, private beach, spa, gym and more. The pool area consist of two long narrow pools plus a kids pool. The pool size seems quite small given the occupancy potential at the hotel. The pool depth is pretty shallow. The pool does provide beautiful views of the ocean. There is limited seating around the two tier pool so again during high occupancy you could be out of luck with a chair. The hotel does offer a small private beach. Beat to wear your beach shoes as the ground is a bit rough from pebbles and shells. The best thing about the beach is right off shore you can see wildlife if you really t or bring your snorkel gear. I saw at least 15 different types of fish off the shore. At the beach there are additional lounge chairs plus some cabanas. The hotel offers multiple restaurants. They have a Michelin restaurant that offers Japanese previous food. Plus they have a large restaurant called Cien that offers buffets at breakfast and dinner. Plus there are two bars: one off the pool that does not provide views of the ocean. Another bar in a cave like environment. The cocktails were just ok. The hotel does offer a nice Spa at reasonable prices. An hour massage cost approximately 60 dollars. Plus the hotel offers resort activities. Each day there is a list of activities including snorkeling tours, swimming after dance and more. The water dance instructors weee amazing with their energy at 10am. They got the class going! As top Marriott level guest we were provided an upgrade. We received the junior sweet that had beautiful views of the ocean. The suite consisted of a large bathroom with a big stand alone tub. Separate shower area and two sinks. It looks like there use to be a tv in Bathroom but none existed today. The other room consisted of a table with four chairs and a large couch. The room had two balconies. The furniture in the family room was functional but seemed like outdoor furniture. The room could use some higher quality indoor like furniture. So where did the hotel miss the mark? As mentioned earlier the hotel has only been opened since 2022 and already the hotel looks worn. The table in the room was rough-chipped. The wallpaper behind the bed and under the tv in bedroom was worn, dirty, and messy. The bathroom grout was missing or dirty. The bar by the pool had spoiled chairs. The cushions at the pool are dirty and worn. The towels at the pool are following apart, they need to replaced. The dinning room Cien furniture was very worn: chipped table furnishings and dirty walls. The hotel outside needs a paint job: looks a lot older than it is. The hallways had a bad odor. Overall appearance and upkeep is poor for a hotel that claims to be five stars. Given the overall appearance per the cost of the hotel, I rate this hotel as just ok.

Highly recommend also for Sinulog Fluvial Parade. Everything was included with transfers to and from the port as well as breakfast and lunch included. Explore Cebu is also our go to for airport transfers whenever we are in Cebu. Safe and on time as well as courteous staff.
