Unfortunately, I left needing a new stylist--and with significantly more hair cut off than I requested--because it wasn't cut straight the first time. I asked for it to be evened out, but it was overcorrected, and one side ended up even shorter than the other. I will now need even more cut off to have it fixed. I don't ask for layers, bangs, or anything complicated--just a straight, even trim. Yet my hair is still uneven by almost an inch. While I understand that hair grows back, this setback means I now have to wait even longer to donate it. I'm very upset. My hair was right at my tailbone before and now it's about 3+ inches shorter and clearly uneven.

He made me feel great from the moment I walked in. He cut it curl by curl, turning it this way and that to make sure it was right from top to bottom and all over. Finally, he taught me how to handle it and apply products, talking me through doing it myself and making sure it was all written down for me. Immediately after receiving this email, I called the salon to cancel my appointment since there was no option to do so through the email itself. I called three times without an answer and ultimately left a voicemail requesting cancellation. Despite this, I received an email today stating that my card on file would be charged for missing the appointment. I promptly called your salon to clarify the situation and explained that I had canceled by voicemail on September 25. The person who answered the phone was dismissive, and when I spoke with the owner, I was made to feel as though the responsibility fell on me for not replying to the email or a text message. To clarify: I do not receive text messages from your salon. I did not reply to the email because I had already called and left a voicemail. It is your responsibility to check and respond to client voicemails. Additionally, I called today at 11:29 a.m. and was told I would receive a call back within 30 minutes. That call never came. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I respectfully request a full refund of the cancellation charge. I hope you will honor this request and reconsider how communication and customer service are handled in the future.
