I looked online and it said estimated wait was 5 minutes, so I headed over. When I got there I said I wanted a shampoo and cut; she asked if I was already on "her list", I said no, and she told me she wouldn't be able to get me in today. This was a little before 2pm and they're open until 6pm! If they're booked up until closing, the website should say that. Even seeing a 1-2 hour wait would've prevented me from wasting my time. This Supercuts is the worst haircut place I have ever been too. I got there and the new lady working there did not clean her area and was unable to work the compute. when she sat me down and asked what I needed, I told her specifically not to shave the back of my head. The first thing the lady did was shave a big chunk out of the back of my neck. I told her I had to go and left the establishmen. Just gonna go ahead and start off by saying Supercuts hasn't messed up my hair in the 5 or 6 times I've used their services. I go to other shops to get a cut as well, and Supercuts is right there with the best of em'. Maybe it's different for women who have longer and complex hairstyles. I dont know. All I know is, everytime I come in for a haircut, the ladies at Supercuts deliver and get me the style I'm looking for. Also, the hot towel finish always hits the spot. And I've always come in requesting different styles. It's never been the same request whenever I come in, because I'm growing my hair out. So it's always been a different task and request from me. Yet, as I mentioned, they always deliver. Only complaint atm is the app. I've tried twice at two different occasions to book an appt through the app and it never works. This location is the absolute worst. The employees here are unbearable and should, in my opinion be fired. The receptionist rudely insinuated that my phone number was not valid and that the system overbooked. That was a bold faced lie, as I checked my phone number and it was the phone number everyone else calls me on. This location also refuses to answer their phones, which is ironic considering the above statement. I think these employees know that you cannot complain to corporate because their phones don't have live people and the online submission report system requires a ticket number. I have reported this issue to various consumer protection agencies. read more

Sad to say their customer service is poor. On a time line with an appointment for a hair color and after mixing a hair color I ask the stylist for hi lights also. She said she didn't have time. I told her I could for go the high lights . She told mea stylist that could do both would be right with me. I reminded her I was on a schedule if she could do just my color but she asked me to wait for the other stylist. Worst experience in a salon EVER! Went in for a a color and cut. After giving me a price of $120, for short hair!! I said ok. I waited 45 minutes to get in the chair, then had about 15 minute color consultation, then she tells me she's going in the back to mix the colors. She's back there for about 20 minutes then sticks her head out and calls another stylist back there. A few minutes later the other stylist comes out to tell me my stylist isn't comfortable coloring my hair because she thinks the blonde won't come out right because of the red in my hair. Well then why the hell didn't you say that to me an hour and a half ago?!?! I will never set foot in that place again and I will tell everyone I know DO NOT go there. read more

Horrible experience!i took my daughter who is 6 to get a haircut n she was so excited until e We got there they called her name sat her in the chair and then brought her to me and said they wont be able to cut her hair cause she has lice eggs and i told them no she dont and she parted her hair and it was dandruff and i even told the lady its dandruff and still wouldnt cut her hair my daughter was humiliated and hysterically cryed cause everyone in there stared at her after waiting 2 hours for nothing i took her home and double checked and all she had was dandruff.you would think someone that did hair would know the difference between dandruff and lice eggs.And in order to have only lice eggs you have to have lice right?i will not be going back for myself or my daughter read more

Great customer service. There isn't a long wait on Sundays. I usually always go to Shellby. If I'm in a rush for a cut or if she isn't there, I'll settle for anyone else. I suggest calling ahead of time to see if they can hold your spot on busy days (i.e. Thur-Sat) to my knowledge they don't do reservations. Same person always cuts my hair and always does an excellent job. The management though has lost their personal touch by sending incoming calls to a call center. This is a very poor move that only made me want to go elsewhere. I could not get a confirmed reservation and the person was very frustrating to talk to. I do not recommend anyone to go here! They do not listen to what you want. I tried to describe over and over again what I wanted which was just a "trim". They did not give me a trim they cut probably 4 inches off my hair and it was totally crooked! I was so mad I just paid the girl and asked to speak to the manager. Of course the manager was not in. I called a couple times and still no manager there. What kind of company never has a manager there? If you are thinking about going there I would not recommend it. read more

Just turn around and walk back out if your black. They acted as if my hair was the barbed wire and I actually have a nice texture, take care of it and have had it trimmed in this state many times. I asked for a trim. I was actually told I should just go home and straighten it first after repeatedly saying I don't put heat on my hair. I explained it just more coarse and curly so you'll need to take smaller pieces to comb through and clip. I was then told they would try it but couldn't guarantee they wouldn't cut off WAY more than just the ends wtf. FYI all these discussion took place in front of other stylists and customers after I was told more than once there is probably nothing they can do for me!! I have already left a yelp review, but it seems to deserve another. I have kept calling corporate once a month, always having to leave a message, never getting a call back. I have now filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Yes, it was over a bad cut, yes, it was only $15, but they have been unreasonably unprofessional. My previous review is one this site deems as not recommendable, possibly because it was rather lengthy and detailed.
