I went to this salon for a color root touch up. The salon looked nice and my operator seemed…read moreknowledgeable. I ended up having 4 or 5 foils of lowlights (same color as the base color to ensure the base color would blend into my hair well on the top of my head.) I did not have a blow out or haircut. All seemed fine until I went to pay. With a tip my bill was over $300. I was so shocked!!!! I was standing there with wet hair being told that I was being charged that amount when I've never ever been charged more that $125 for the same services for any shop I've gone to in 30 years. The operator said it was because I had thick hair which would be true but never have I been charged more because of it; it was never discussed that the operator had dropped my bowl with the color on the floor and had to refill the color bowl. I politely paid my bill and left in total disbelief. Note... I did leave a message with the shop and after quite a delay the owner left me a message on my phone saying that she accidentally overcharged me by $60.00. Even if you reduced my bill by $60, the cost for services rendered was extremely high... I absolutely would never go back to this salon!!!!

Everyone that I spoke to was very friendly. Emmy made feel very comfortable and welcome. Emmy cut my hair perfectly and I was done. I don't know what any of their other service are since being a guy I just get my haircut. Looks to me like a well run and we'll organized salon. So, I picked whomever was available. There were two. So I picked the person that was there longest. I got Taylor. I told her I needed a new look. I brought in a few pictures. She did a great job. I got a lot of compliments from friends and family. I like that they have an App where you can make appointments, change them etc. I like that she didn't automatically use hairspray. I don't wash everyday . If they sprayed it, it would have to be washed sooner. After I paid, the receptionist set me up with my next appointment . Taylor was great. She didn't scold me for the self trimming I did. I decided I would stop dying it a year ago. She blended the gray in nicely. She was great.

I am extremely disappointed with my daughter's experience at Vogue Salon on Route 24 with Joey…read more This was her first time getting highlights, and she came in with clear inspiration photos showing a soft, blended, dimensional brunette/bronde look with highlights and lowlights. What she received was nowhere close. After the first appointment with Joey, the highlights were barely visible and did not reflect what she asked for. She went back for a correction, and unfortunately the redo was even worse. Instead of a soft, blended, modern color, she left with thin, stripy highlights, visible demarcation near the root/crown, and a dated foil-highlight look that does not resemble the inspiration photos at all. The issue is not that she asked for something complicated or unrealistic. She asked for a natural, dimensional highlight/lowlight look, and Joey simply did not execute it. The correction did not fix the problem -- it created a different one. This was especially upsetting because it was my daughter's first highlight experience, and she was really excited about it. Instead, she came home disappointed and embarrassed by the result. Hair color is expensive, and clients should be able to expect that a stylist will listen, understand the requested look, and have the technical skill to achieve something reasonably close. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Joey at Vogue Salon for dimensional brunette color, highlights, lowlights, or corrective color. The final result was not professional quality, and the redo did not inspire any confidence that the salon knew how to correct it properly.
