This is the second time this location has canceled or tried to reschedule same-day when I've booked appointments for friends. It's incredibly unprofessional and completely disrupts plans that were made well in advance. Thankfully, Toni&Guy stepped in and saved the day with a same-day appointment. They were flexible, gracious, and everything a salon should be. I honestly can't recommend them enough. If you need reliability or you're booking for something time-sensitive, be aware that Drybar - La Encantada has not shown they can honor appointments as scheduled. Hopefully management addresses this, because the pattern is unacceptable.

Prices are on the pricier side but I am okay with that because they always do a stellar job giving my son the cut he wants. He has visited Mabel Salon on numerous occasions since 2024. Despite a thorough consultation where I explained I needed bulk on the sides for my narrow face shape, the final cut was heavily layered rather than blunt. He used a texturizing technique that was far too aggressive for fine hair. In fact, my other stylist struggled to get my hair onto rods for a perm afterward because there were so many inconsistent lengths in the crown. Ryan is a nice person and asks all the right questions about your goals, but he ultimately seems to favor a specific cutting method that is better suited for thick hair. If you have thin hair and need a style that provides volume, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
