Never actually had drugs dispensed here, but all other dealings have been overwhelmingly positive. British pharmacies are amazing and this is a great example. CVS, Rite-Aid, and Duane Reed could learn a lot (though unlike aforementioned American pharmacies they dont sell smokes or booze -- weak).

This pharmacy is not as cheap as you might think given the location and the general Co-operative cheapness but there are some good deals to be found. Archway's branch does a lot of gift sets like a Mr. Men soap set for 2.99. The other sets are the same price they would be at Boots (10 pounds or so for a name brand cologne/perfume set). The makeup selection is small and they sell Rimmel and Bourjois which is decent quality stuff. My St Ives stuff is the same price here as Tesco (about 3 pounds)so I'm not that impressed. All in all, I think this pharmacy is a decent and if they had a makeup deal I'd buy some Rimmel here.

They invariably have good deals on shampoo and skincare throughout the whole year, and have thankfully expanded to sell perfumes so at least that's a good way of attracting customers. Superdrug will often also have deals that supermarkets won't have so much of, for example hair removing products are usually a third off, and they have a good selection of vitamins and other medication. This store is quite small compared to other Superdrug stores but it has most of the essentials you would need to buy.

They also have a good chemist area and sell electricals and snacks. Recently they have started selling branded kitchen and loo rolls at great prices, so sometimes I stock up on those when I'm in here too. I prefer this superdrug to the Walworth Road boots because the offers at superdrug are great- often buy one get one free or half price.

I came in the other day with a hacking cough and was aghast at the possibility of not finding my favourite glycerine tablets. Fortunately they were there, wrapped in their glorious purple paper. They do also have a pharmacy and sell the essentials, even if you may struggle to pick up hair straighteners or fancy electric razors. Also, right over the road from Mcdonalds, so you can pick up your healthy drugs and then go and make yourself ill.

That great, inexpensive cure-all which should doubtless be stocked in every chemist. An independent pharmacy just near the post office at Old Street, Apex Pharmacy stocks a good range of vitamins and minerals, essential oils, some cosmetics and hair dyes and other beauty essentials. Staff are friendly and very helpful. This may not be the most attractive chemist in London but it is very, very useful, and for that I give Apex three stars.

There's plenty to choose from and I'm always happy with anything I buy from superdrug. I've never had a problem with any of the staff and always found what I wanted.
