The staff seem friendly enough, it is a shame this store does shut rather early at 5:30 during the week, which rules out access to the pharmacy, but this seems to be common practice in smaller towns. 3* - Decent store, nothing too special but certainly a nice addition to the town.

I then had to endure a string of Dreadful, awful, other local pharmacies. Cohen's chemist, the large one under the medical centre being the absolute worst anyone could ever imagine! I am a single disabled lady. with quite a large complicated list of regular monthly medications. This has been my first month with them, my prescription was ordered and collected in a very timely manner, without me needing to make 1 million phone calls. All 18 items were requested without any being missed off or left out. They were polite well mannered and extremely helpful and professional both on the phone and in person, and my medication was delivered to my door in a very timely manner with no problems what so ever. It has been 6 months, and 3 chemists since i have had a service this good, with no problems, and a chemist with staff and delivery service that rates 10/10.

Boots in Buxton is quite large for a small town. It has a good stock of toiletries, perfumes, baby…read moreitems and gifts as well as electrical items such as hair dryers, straightners and shavers. There is also a photo desk at the back of the shop where you can print photos and get photo gifts. There is also a chemist where you can pick up prescriptions. The staff are freindly and always willing to help. The only downside of this shop is the price as it tends to be more expensive than places like superdrug. However you can collect Boots points and use them to get items for free.

It is bright, warm and welcoming…read more This branch has a lot of snacks and drinks(a disproportionate amount to be honest) and not a vast amount of make up although they do carry 17, Max Factor, No7 and bourgious. However they carry all the stuff you may buy on a regular basis-tons of shampoo, bubble bath, tissues, soap and some gift items. They have lots of baby items and quite a big section with household items. This is a good, no frills type of Boots. The huge Trafford Centre Boots is a short drive or bus ride away for the more exotic or special items. Although they do carry Christmas items, as you would expect in a store this size the range is somewhat limited. This is a really useful Boots for everyday items. They offer a prescription collection service from local surgeries as well.

There is an Opticians here too which is handy, to go alongside the regular services you'd find in a Boots. I do find shutting at 17:30 to be annoying, especially for such a large town. The only other branch nearby, which is ideal for late openings (Peel Centre Retail Park, Great Portwood Street) also closes at 17:30, so there is surely a need for a store which opens later in the area, especially for the essential Pharmacy services. I did find a lack of staff on the shop floor to be even more annoying, the only staff member I could find was a security guard at the front of the store, who was friendly but not helpful with finding certain items (That wasn't his job and I only asked him as there was no one else). 3* - If you can go into the city centre of Manchester, the Market Street store is much better, I actually had to go in there on my way home as I couldn't get what I needed here.

It is up at Gemini, adjacent to Next and there is a large free car park out the front making it convenient to visit. It is open late until 8pm most night too making it handy to nip to after work. The selection of brands is good, much better than the Boots in town and the staff are helpful and quick, I have never had to queue for long. The only negative point is that the advantage card machine never seems to be working when I visit so I miss out on picking up any extra points that may be on offer.

It's situated on the Gemini retail park & is close to other stores such as Next, Ikea & M&S. The staff are friendly & helpful but sometimes I've found it hard to find someone as the store is so big! They always have excellent 3 for 2 offers on at Christmas & I've had some good buys from there. The car park is a reasonable size but I think it could do with being a bit bigger as it does get busy especially at busy times such as sales & Christmas shoppers. It's open until 8pm & I think at Christmas it sometimes stays open until even later which is always good. Overall a good store with lots to offer.

This location is inside Crompton Arcade on Mealhouse Lane in Bolton town centre, but due to current government guidelines forcing the mall to shut, it can only be accessed through street-level as of February 2021, which will hopefully change in the coming weeks. Full of Ibruprofen, shower gel, fungal foot cream and cough mixture, Boots pretty much has every medicine/mixture/pill/gel/washing product that you could possibly need. They usually have some two for ones or other deals going down as well so there's always a bargain going if you look around. The lady who served me at the pharmacy section of this Boots was really very pleasant and helpful, making Boots that tiny bit better than it already is.

However all the staff are very friendly and will do anything to help with any problems or queries you may have. Also they dont stock many christmas lines during the festive period this is perhaps due to the store being small.
