I think there are 3 or 4 aisles in a village shop which is large ! The prices are decent and there are all the necessary products.

(It also opens at 6 during the week too, great to pop in on your commute!) The drinks and to-go food selection is okay but I do feel other places within the station including WHSmith, Marks and Spencer and the Co-op outside are better, however. It can get a little crowded at peak times, I do occasionally see warehouse boxes around the store too which makes this a little worse. If you're looking for a flu shot, this store as of writing has the best availability in the city centre with appointments most days compared to the Arndale/Market Street branch which would have had me waiting over two weeks, and Piccadilly Gardens which has over a weeks wait for an appointment after 4:30 pm (This is a seasonal thing remember!) Average store in most regards, but opening hours make it much more useful to pick up medicines when in the city. 3*

The reason I've managed to avoid getting the dreaded flu myself is wrapping up warm and carrying First Defense and Cuticura Hand Gel with me. The former keeps me warm and toasty and the latter two kill off bad germs and bacteria. Luckily, this Boots stocks both so whenever I'm travelling and running low on either, I just pop in and grab some on my way to the platform. Handily, they also stock smoothies and breakfast bars too!

After being with this pharmacy for over ten years I am sorry I have to find a new pharmacy. Since…read morethe beginning of this year my prescription has been delaying for over five days. Last month I was told they were too busy so they can't order my medication for me again. I had to go about three days without medication. And the pharmacy told me I can even go five to seven days without medication. And this month also because of the bank holiday they couldn't order my medication. When I phoned them to find out they disconnected me after almost 20 minutes of waiting. I phone again and the reply was pharmacist is too busy call back in two hours. What happened to this amazing pharmacy. I am done now. Thanks again for the previous services

Cameolord try to make it as easy as possible offering prescription delivery and collection, my experience was simple and quick and I was able to get my medication in minutes so I was rather pleased. Though it's always, always great to have these services offered for free and with very little judgement, so close to halls, she did take exception at having to sit in the 'Corner of Shame'; two green chairs surrounded by leaflets. Anyway, Corner of Shame aside, this Lloyds sells everything you'll ever need, and almost always has deals on bubble bath. I swear the whole time this was my local pharmacy, Herbal Essences were on BOGOFs. They also stock all the, er, flavours of dry shampoo. The staff are all helpful and knowledgeable, and will give great advice on the cold/flu remedies, as well as other non-prescription sutff. As far as prescriptions go, they are efficient and quick, and when I ran out of the pill in first year, and didn't have time to go to the doctor, they happily dispensed me another pack (though at a charge) on the strength of past prescriptions etc. I thought this was a really nice touch; and it shows how helpful and nice the staff are.

I've never had one, but my mate did, a quick visit to Lloyds a month later and he was fine. Not for me that, I'm a stable man. It has a…read moreparticularly handy location and prevents you having to trawl all the way into the city to find a pharmacist slash make up and shower gel stockist. Although I prefer Boots by far, due to its incredibly generous advantage card scheme, Superdrug is ever so slightly cheaper and often has more offers on such as 'buy one get one free' which are always handy when you're a penniless student. The disadvantages of this store is the fact they don't offer bags and the huge misleading sign in the window which says 'students get ten percent off'... if you've purchased an N.U.S Extra card. That's right, your student card officially issued by your university with photo I.D and N.U.S stamped on the bag will not suffice to prove you are a student. Poor show, Superdrug! What utter misers...

The prices for drinks seemed between 10-15% more than a regular Boots location, a little expensive but still priced competitively for the Airport. The store feels modern like it has been refreshed lately and it's easy to find what you need, although the store is small so it shouldn't be too difficult anyway. The selection in the store again seemed fine, I was able to get what I was looking for, but that was just a Lipton Iced Tea and cola. There are only manned checkouts here, I prefer a balance of both a staffed checkout and self-service, the latter is especially important for a travel environment where customers will be in a rush and I find this easier in general. PRO TIP: Use Boots' click-and-collect service to order your toiletries and other items here. If you allow enough time you can do this and avoid paying the inflated Airport prices. 3*

Especially when there's a Boots in the same terminal where you can go and buy the exact products again. Hate to sound like a skeptic but something doesn't add up here, folks. It's not as huge as Boots or anything but its compact and serves the right purpose. It's probably saved me way too many times now and my loyalty has been fixed to it!
