It's in the central public square in…read moreConversano, and on the beautiful night we were there, the locals had gathered and were strolling -- kids with soccer balls, old duffers razzing each other amicably, a wedding party at the nearby church, a gaggle of habited nuns, all were part of the people watching we were able to do while we awaited their opening (8 pm). The pizza itself was delicious, with a thin crust and very fresh local ingredients as toppings. The house red was cheap and yummy. The menu has English translations for everything, but I don't sense they get many tourists. Service was friendly, though required a lot of gesturing as we didn't share a common language. We were glad we went.
