Wonderful family owned deli store in beautiful Positano. Sad to report they no longer sell…read moresandwiches, due to the store being super popular due to the TripAdvisor crowd constantly rolling through. Instead, they have shifted to providing cooking classes while also maintaining an excellent well stocked deli. We were able to scoop up drinks, cheese, crackers and meats for a takeaway charcuterie board. Had a nice conversation with the friendly owner too- really an excellent family run and fully stocked store. Would gladly stop by again the next time we are in Posi.

This is a quaint and small market operated by one man. We walked in and found they also had all kinds of beverages including an extensive stock of wines. They also sell meat and cheeses among other foods. Very authentic and a lot of the stock was not commercial goods. Why I give this place five stars is because the man working here was honest. It was pretty obvious that we were tourists because we at first picked up a sparkling water not knowing it was carbonated. He didn't speak English but he still corrected us knowing we wanted regular still water. Then he directed us to the cold still water bottles. Finally when we paid we were sorting out our coins and didn't exactly have enough to make exact change. He still took what we had and we were very grateful as we did not want to break our larger Euro bills. Really a genuine and kind person and being a mom and pop type of operation going up against the supermarket next door isn't easy but he maintains his integrity and didn't take advantage of us tourists. Tip: Closed on Monday.

This location is fairly non-descript from the exterior, if you didn't see the supermarket sign you probably wouldn't know it was there. Blinds cover the front windows from the bright sun outside. Walking in, there are about 7-8 aisles of products, including everything you'd find in a larger store: a fresh produce section, cheese, and charcuterie, dairy, meat and fish, refrigerated food, canned, dried and preserved items, beverages and alcoholic drinks, snacks, cookies and candy, a frozen section, pet supplies, a small home goods area. The produce, cheese/charcuterie/olives and meat sections looked fresh and welcoming. It's rare that you see such smaller stores with such breadth of products in the US, so I was impressed as a foreign tourist--they probably had twenty different types of chocolate hazelnut spread! I bought some chocolate, pasta and cookies for souvenirs and check out was at one of two (or three?) registers at the front. Not much interaction with the staff working though checkout was quick and the store was neat and clean!
