If you have AWD there is a secondary lot access allowing you to park your vehicle directly on the beach. The bigger AWD vehicles (Jeeps, pickup trucks) can go all the way to the other end of the beach where the sand is like powder and the water is almost clear blue. The waves on the main beach were nonexistent so a lot of family with younger kids stayed on that side, it was quiet, kids playing in the water and parents chitchatting. On the AWD access it was more lively. Lots of big groups, young and older. Lot of different music, playing beach games. Down at the very end the waves were much bigger and that's where I saw most of the surfing taking place. Great for collecting shells. Lots of cool seabirds. On the main beach there were hermit and Filder crabs (they are too small for their pinch to hurt). Overall a great beach.

I really liked this park. When I went, it wasn't that crowded. If your car can handle it, you can…read morepark right on the beach. There is plenty of non-sand parking available. It was cool watching the St. Johns River meet the Atlantic Ocean. From what I could see, the only bathrooms available were port-a-potties. There are also very few places to seek shade, so you gotta make sure to bring your sunblock and beach umbrella.

I walked a block to the courthouse and scanned in by the Officers. I went to the Jury room and was told to sit down and wait for the check in process. Finally we were told to line up, check in with the lady and then proceed to a check in kiosk. There was an employee at each kiosk to assist. Perfect! I was glad she was there to help me. My name did not show up. So, we used my case number and did an easy check in. Then we all waited for the instructions. The young lady speaking over a microphone was so soft spoken and did not enunciate her words properly-no one hear her! But, then I heard my name-I went up to her desk and my Lawyer was already up there. He had taken care of everything and I was excused. I don't know if I have to rerun or not. I will be notified if I have another date set or not. I'm Pros:very organized and plenty of Police and Bailiffs to help. Things moved pretty fast. Cons: they need to have someone who can speak louder when calling the names of the people. They state they will only call your name once. If you don't hear her, you're screwed! So SPEAK IP! Listen well. Ignore all of the chatter around you. Recommend:this place is necessary for all legal purposes. Fact: this courthouse is very nice, but huge! It takes up two or more city blocks.

It is the sixth-most populous county in Florida after Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Hillsborough and Orange. Jacksonville has been the county seat ever since. The present courthouse was completed in 2012, replacing the now demolished 1958 courthouse. The building faces south and is a seven story concrete, steel and glass structure. The south front has a projecting two story center section with columns rising to a pediment. It is a massive structure that contains 51 courtrooms which includes the County Circuit Court of the 4th Judicial District and County Court. The massive size definitely projects the power of the judiciary in Northeast Florida. There is street parking around the area, both metered and paid lots. That was till last weekend went we made a reservation a week out and locked in. We came in for dinner and were quickly seated. We started off with checking out the drink menu and I had to try the Asian Whiskey Smash which sounded very refreshing. Once ordered I have never seen a drink come out faster which made me think it might have been premade but it was still good. Of course course also had to get an appetizer and when with a classic for us that being the Crab Rangoon's which are made with actual Lump-Crab and not Krab....I was also a big fan of the sauce it came with since I'm not a huge fan of the radioactive Sweet & Sour Sauce that many come with. I ordered another drink and this time went with Sake. I got the Sakari Demon Slayer which came in a "Juice Box" which was fun. Not the best Sake for sure but fun and cheap. For my entree I went with the Red Curry Shrimp & Grits. Being such a Curry and Shrimp & Grits fan it's just the best of both worlds. Ashley got the General's Chicken and we also ordered the Chow Fun with Beef for a noodle dish to share. The Red Curry Shrimp & Grits was very good and for sure a must try. It was rich and loaded with shrimp, veggies, and those tasty grit cakes. I have only had a Curried Shrimp & Grits once before and this one was for sure better and that one was good too. Now as if I couldn't speak more on thr Red Curry Shrimp & Grits that wasn't even the best dish of the night. That has to go to the Chow Fun with Beef! This was the best Chow Fun I have ever had by far. This is a must get every time you visit Blue Bamboo. The beef was so tender and the Chow Fun was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. We will for sure be coming to Blue Bamboo again!
