I'm so glad we tried Supreme Dumplings! I was hesitant because we love other places but Supreme really did deliver. I love their fun drink menu (great N/A options), great music, and the food was actually delicious. Xio Long Bao didn't disappoint, the green beans were crisp and flavorable, and the Chocolate Melt Xio Long Bao were a fun dessert. First of all, this place is beautiful. High quality utensils and cups! I was immediately seated and food came out quickly. My friend and I tried their frozen lemonade and sunrise lemonade. Both were great! The spicy Szechuan dumplings are sooooo spicy. Delicious but soooooo spicy. We weren't fans of the Vin sauce but loved the lemongrass in the sauce bowl! Thin, delicate wrappers, a flood of rich broth, and that perfect slow-building chili kick. One bite and I knew I'd be back just for these, no question. We also inhaled: * Classic pork soup dumplings - steaming hot, juicy, textbook perfect. * Pork chop fried rice - crispy-edged chops, insane wok flavor, easily one of the best I've ever had. * Spicy cucumbers - crunchy, garlicky, addictive heat... we fought over the last piece and instantly wished we'd ordered a bucket. My kiddo got the wontons and demolished them. They taste a little different from the usual (maybe a touch more sesame in the filling?), but still completely delicious and gone in seconds. The xlb didn't have a lot of broth but it had enough. Ranking the dishes from what we liked the most to least is pork xlb, truffle roll, spicy wonton and the mini pan fried dumplings. Definitely expect a wait!! They seemed extremely short staffed! We are huge Din Tai Fung fans and saw that someone on TikTok said this place was the new Din Tai Fung of Houston! At first glance, the restaurant itself is so nice and definitely has a great menu selection. We were told the wait was 25 minutes upon arrival and ended up having to wait 45min to get seated. Once we were seated we waited at least another 5-7 minutes to even be greeted. There were only around what seemed like 2 or 3 servers waiting on tables and when we were greeted, we were greeted with the nicest staff. The food was amazing!!! My husband and I ordered the Supreme Pork and Szechuan Spicy Xiao Long Bao and we ordered a Kid's Rice Plate for our toddler. Don't miss out on the Spicy Cucumber Salad. The staff were so friendly but SO short staffed. I spoke with a couple of them and they mentioned that workers kept getting cut. I truly felt for the staff because they seemed like they needed the extra help on a very busy Friday night. I didn't understand why a place that is so busy would cut their staff short.. I will also mention when we left I overheard a woman telling the hostess they had been waiting for over an hour. Hope the owners can do something about that for their customers and employees. We came in on a Tuesday evening for dinner and there was a wait. It was about 20 minutes but also note that if you're not there in person waiting and they call your name, they'll skip over you and call the next person. We ordered spicy XLB, pork chop fried rice, mini fried pork buns, spicy shrimp and pork wontons, and chocolate XLB. The spicy XLB was nice and spicy and had lots of juice. It was our favorite. The mini fried pork buns were also delicious and juicy with a crispy bottom. The spicy shrimp and pork wontons were okay but the skin felt overcooked. It also had a slightly sweet and strong shrimp taste. The pork fried rice I would not get again. The cut of pork had a lot of cartilage and the rice was overcooked and sticky. The flavor was okay though. The wait for the chocolate XLB was way too long. Eventually after waiting 20-30 minutes and continuously asking for updates, they finally let us know that we wouldn't be able to get it due to kitchen errors.
