But why a rough diamond? Its a father and son and that's it. (Two of the nicest, "salt of the Earth" people you will ever meet. From a small town in Italy. Somewhere in Piedmont). They are in a tiny...mmm...less than luxurious place. Plastic cutlery, plastic cups, plastic tables, sketchy bathroom...the contrast between the food and ambience truly creates one of the most interesting dining experiences that could possibly exist on this Earth. Expect to wait forever for your food. Its worth it. Relax. Leave your ego at the door- if you are rude, in a hurry, or demanding, you probably won't get a table. There are probably only about 10 tables total, and it's always full, so if you want to eat, get there early. Everyone absolutely LOVED their entrees. The flavors and preparation were perfect. Every bite was delightful. The tiramisu was also fantastic! Service from our waiter was also extraordinary as he was friendly, kind and so genuinely caring and attentive. The table we had, right inside but bordering the outside tables was an ideal spot to people watch, but have the comforts of the dining room. We even met the owner and head chef, Michele himself who was at an outside table overseeing the dinner service. We had the most wonderful experience here and highly recommend to all.
