I went in for me and my husband thinking we needed new foot beds , but my husbands boots were from 2008 so... not good ! He really was so helpful , go me new liners . Tested my boots and was so helpful to get me a good fit for now , boots are too big , but may be next time I will get some new boots I so trust these guys ! Boots are very hard to fit , and easy to get the wrong ones , but Todd and his team are great and will get you in the right boot for your long term investment !! It makes such a difference in how. You ski , we ski double diamonds and all over here in Colorado and jackson hole ! You need control and boots are the main control panel ! Randy saved my ski trip. I made the mistake of buying new boots at home in California, and on the first day, the big toenail on each foot was all banged up. I thought my boots must be too small, but Randy said the size was right, but there was too much volume in the ankle and calf area. In tough conditions--a few inches of powder over ice with poor visibility--I was admittedly sitting back too much, and that extra boot volume allowed my foot to slide forward. Randy added some padding and I was able to ski the next three days without any issues. (I will lose those toenails, however.) read more

Todd is the best boot fitter, he is extremely knowledgeable about this, and very professional in his approach to every person that walks in. While one of the associates was very helpful (younger with long curly hair) the man helping me (who introduced himself to someone else as the manager) was very unhelpful. He put the insole in my boot and then walked away and told me he'd be right back. Moments later, someone came in and needed new heel and toe plates and the guy that was in the middle of helping me said to him "do you want me to put the new ones on for you? I'm not doing anything right now." Unbelievable. I've never written a bad review for any negative experience in my life but something about that interaction really didn't sit well with me. He continued to speak to different customers and walk around the shop for about 15 minutes while I'm still waiting there to be helped. Skiing shouldn't be painful and that starts with your feet and your boots. I have had issues almost all my life with a small feet for a woman who is 5'2, wears 5 1/2 ladies shoe has narrow ankles/heel lift but skies aggressively. In the peak of holiday ski season, tourists swamping the store, and everyone's feet hurt, the staff at Surefoot greeted everyone, introduce themselves, took the time to listen to my feet drama, and learned my name. As I sat waiting for my liners and inserts to be molded, I observed the staff masterfully managing the chaos, having fun with each other and clients, and helping each other out. Surefoot boots are awesome. We took the custom boot plunge with Surefoot boots and it has changed our skiing experience. No more bruised shins or smashed toes. Hi pressure salespeople but very knowledgable boot fitters. When you walk out you question if your nuts for spending over $1,300 on a new pair of boots. The second you hit the slopes in them it all makes sense. After you go back once or twice for free adjustments you realize why this is the best and only option for ski boots. The high pressure sales approach is needed to get customers to buy what best for them. Most of us would Never spend this much on a pair of boots unless someone pushed us. Great group of guys that work there. Very very passionate about skiing. They are very personable and remember every customers first name. read more

I went in to have my older ski boots repaired. I was greeted and helped in a very friendly and thoughtful manner. The ambience is such that I enjoyed chatting with other customers while waiting (not long) for my boots. At no time did they try to sell me newer boots. They also provided "booties" for me to use to get home while they worked on an overnight repair. I would recommend Sure Foot, near the base of the Steamboat gondola. read more
