Incredible!!! We tried Surfin Turtle for the first time and it did not disappoint. I had the sugar-free vanilla (because I'm pretending to be responsible), my husband went with peanut butter banana coffee (which he immediately declared "the best decision I've made all week"), our daughter chose the bright blue cookies ice cream that looked like it came straight out of a cartoon, and our son ordered the TikTok Dr Pepper with Dippin' Dots drink... which appears to be engineered specifically to make kids bounce off the walls. There's plenty of outdoor seating, and the turtle habitat is awesome. We spent half the time watching the turtles and the other half trying to decide whose treat was the best. Ordering is super easy with the QR code, and they even have a rewards program, which is great because we clearly plan to become regulars. We're new to Satellite Beach, and finding this place feels like discovering a local treasure. Our only problem now is figuring out how often we can come here before it becomes a personality trait. A cute, colorful ice cream and coffee spot to visit on a beach trip - and see some live tortoises/turtles (you can also buy turtle food and feed them). We had the snickerdoodle and brown sugar iced coffees (in cute pop top bottles), both were totally fine - nothing spectacular, but appreciated the various flavor combinations and ability to add cold foam or mix it up with non-dairy milk options. What a cute concept and done well! Had the opportunity to visit surfin turtle twice while in town and got to try the coffee AND the ice cream, and see the turtles of course! The coffee was great! They have a couple of different flavors to choose from and it comes in a can so you can take it easily on the go with you. The ice cream was also yummy and it's very convenient that they have a drive thru! Each time I went everything came out quickly and perfect. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Been here a few times. Ice cream excellent. Parking horrible. Park next door and walk over or you will be stuck in drive thru lane forever(lesson learned) service needs a significant boost. They seem to charge different every time and we get the same thing. Also it can be super slow. Tonight we got there at 835 and they were busy. They took our order and then we waited. They were cleaning up outside so we went to the window and she said they "lost our ticket". We watched her pick it up off the trash can. Intentional..probably not but strange. Other time we went I ordered two scoops, she charged me double and they came out in two different orders. Again. Ice cream is excellent but the service needs a touch of management. The owner will comment "order ahead" to save the wait . That's fine for some but for the people driving by to check it out that doesn't work. The turtles are cool though read more

Definitely worth a trip over there! The selection is great and the prices are reasonable which is refreshing as the treats that they offer! The sizes run on the small end though so just know that. I absolutely love Dole Whip and I found it while traveling in Florida. The young lady was killing it while working the drive thru window and the counter. We got our order pretty quickly. Located just across the street from our time share, so hubby and I decided to try it after our early dinner. Good food. Good ambiance. The girls behind the counter could use extra set of helping hands, as the service was not as quick as one would expect of a drive-thru, especially when a large crowd and long line formed after we ordered. I've been coming here for years, and it has changed SO MUCH ~ in a good way too. They still have their drive thru, but now there's a self-service touchscreen ordering system for customers "dining in". It's fast, easy, and has all the options in one place. How convenient is that?! There's also new outdoor seating, shelter for the tortoises, a neon sign, and a huge bouncy ball dispenser. I'm pretty much in love. Even though I haven't tried any other item, their dole whip is always perfection. I paid about $3.50 for a medium, and it reminded me of the kind you get at Disney world for double the price. There's a public restroom that's a little scary, but it works! The parking is lacking and the lot has a one-way street around the property, which is slightly inconvenient, but it's not their fault or in anyone's control. We always manage! Well...Service was friendly, if not necessarily helpful. The servings were smaller than other places in the county. Usually a "small" goes for a "medium", and a "mediuam" goes for a "large", and so, you get it, right? You know what I mean. But here? A "small" was *small*. Not necessarily a bad thing, but when you can get more bang (or ice cream) for your buck elsewhere, it might be a while before I stop here again. My wife and I go regularly and the lack of attention sometimes is alarming. We were the only ones there and they added the unwanted topping of cookie dough in my wife's ice cream who is celiac.
