    I'm a 35 year old single male who was unfortunately stricken with undue hardship several years ago…read morerelating to mental illness that I was desperately trying to seek treatment for, on my own, for many years. Sadly, mental illness is still a largely misunderstood area of the health field and treatment for it can be slow and expensive, and thus, extremely frustrating for those suffering and needing help. Sadly, you need to have a really good job, with really good insurance to be able to afford proper treatment, which isn't likely, because how can someone keep such a good job and good insurance when struggling with debilitating mental illness? Thankfully Alonzo and Cindy were super helpful in locating a plan that fits my needs on the Healthcare Marketplace and falls into my budget. I thankfully am still able to work at the moment, part-time, with my company, but have to fluctuate the days based on how i'm feeling. It's been rough, but I'm thankful to have a plan now that is actually affordable, where I can actually get the help I need should I eventually need any type of emergency care. It really is important we help people in these situations get their heads above water so they can be better functioning members of society, and can pay it forward again, once they are feeling better. Anyways, just want to give Alonzo and Cindy a big shout out. They were very pleasant a fun to talk to, but they also knew the system very well. I told them my whole situation of the last several years, my current income and projected income, they crunched the numbers, and then broke down the plans and did the comparisons for me in a simple manner. They ended up getting me a plan that will end up costing me an out-of-pocket total that's a little more than double of what my previous plans SINGLE-MONTH PREMIUM cost. Anyways, thank you, Alonzo, Cindy, and Anchor for helping me out in my time of need right now. Here's to a new year of healing!

    My 91 year old mother never made an insurance claim in the 16 years she has lived here until…read morerecently when we had a leak. It took 9 months to fix a small bathroom. This was due in part to Anchor Insurance and their adjuster's delay after delay after delay, and under-estimating the actual cost of completing the job. The adjuster did not return phone calls, lied, and was so hostile generally that when I discovered my mother had an insurance broker I immediately contacted her to get help. Once the broker called Anchor, miraculously things started to happen, calls were returned (by someone else not the original adjuster) adjustments were made to correctly reflect the cost of repairs and checks were delivered. Overall a terrible experience, especially when you consider the age of the policy holder and how stressful having construction and upheaval going on for 9 months was for her. I do not believe this is an isolated incidence either as the person who we spoke at Anchor with seemed to be aware of this adjuster's tactics. No, I would not recommend them and yes I'll be reporting them and their adjuster to the State of Florida. Be warned.
