Absolutely the place for sushi n Japanese. Some of the chefs are Japanese. Freshly made aburi sushi n there is a wide selection. I love the curry tonkatsu. The scampi nigiri is a good choice. N aburi scallops. Very fresh n prompt. Licensed. Hot sake available. There are many types of aburi salmon. You can even hv a cheesy one. There are lunch specials on weekdays.

My friend refer me to this restaurant as they do 3 dollars per plate at lunch time. Yes, 12-2:30. Walked in, pretty busy, but somehow non of the waitress was smiling. I said one person, and she kinda directed me in then walked away. I was standing there not sure where she wants me to sit. I have to find someone again to find a seat. No smile still. I sat on a two people table with iPad ordering system. Guess what waitress, I never been here and I don't know how to use your iPad ordering. Omg, I was very annoyed by their services. Finally got a girl to show me, and she did it without saying one word to me. Wth. Anyway, I made my order, then I just wait. No one offer me a drink or anything. I need to call a girl for glass of water. Soon, my food is here. Same, they just dump the plates in front of you and left. Seriously, their services is so terrible. Now, let talk about food now. 2/5 dishes were horrible and it was the first time, I didn't finish my sushi. It's cheap at lunch time, but it doesn't mean you can lower your quality. To sum up, food is cheap, quality is cheap, service is horrible. Don't think I'll go back anytime soon. Good luck.

The tempura is cold and soggy - clearly cooked in bulk then stuck in the fridge. Quality isnt that good, and service is a little clueless.

Sushi is awesome. Great variety. You can either pick sushi off the convey belt or order through ipad.

I have to admit I'm a huge sushi fan. It took me a while to get there, but once I did I was hooked…read moreand I've never looked back. That being said I am yet to have the guts to try anything raw, so I stick the basics. Chicken, Vegetables, Tuna... just to be on the safe side. Cherry Blossom also offers hot foods and are available to cater for a dinner party you may have in the future. Cherry Blossom have yet to disappoint me. The sushi is absolutely beautiful and are always fresh and cold. It may seem weird to want your sushi cold but have you ever ordered sushi only to find it be hot? It's kind of disgusting. Sushi can be a tricky thing to buy (sure it's easy to pick and point) but if you're like me (let's hope not), then you're always going to be thinking in the back of your mind if it's safe or not to eat, especially if you eat raw fish. Fortunately I don't, but I still worry about the health issues that are behind it. You never have to worry about this when it comes to Cherry Blossom. In fact sometimes they look too good to eat! They don't skimp on the fillings either which is always a huge plus in my books. Who wants to pay for sushi only to find it's full of rice and one slice of cucumber? No thank-you. Next time you're at Fulham I highly recommend you visiting Cherry Blossom. Reasonable prices, always fresh and full of flavour. I suggest trying the pumpkin and chicken satay. Absolutely delicious!

Ah Sushi Train Unley how I want to love you more but my heart has fallen from your sister (store)…read moreas she has been more honorable to me than you. Unfortunately despite choo-choo choosing this place as my preferred sushi hang out when I'm in the neighbourhood, I can't quite go past the lower standard of performance this sushi train has compared to my Gouger St favourite. Yes I do play favourites children. The go-withouts that have made me reach my star rating: - They don't do clam sushi and that is my partner's favourite - I went in one Saturday night at peak service period and they only had raw salmon available. Things get a bit boring when you have salmon sashimi, salmon nori, salmon sushi rolls... you get where I'm going - The service is a bit slower here than most I won't give up on you though Sushi Train as you are the master of consistently fresh sushi across Adelaide and I love that in a franchise. I just wish you were a little more like your sister...

Now be prepared to wait a little while for a booth or a spot around the train. This place was…read moresooooo busy but in a good way! We probably waited about 15-20 minutes before we got our spot. Plenty of options available on the train but the staff were attentive in asking if we wanted to order off the menu. When we did order off the menu food was quick to come out, except once we had to remind them... The chefs even kept asking if we wanted to order more. This is a cheap night out and a really tasty dinner.

Firstly, if you're coming for lunch, get on board the train at 1pm, because at 12pm you just will…read morenot get a seat. Secondly, when you sit down, try not to embarrass yourself by picking up the plastic display soup, wave down a waitress and she'll get you the real thing. And thirdly If you can't use chopsticks, please don't pretend that you can. Ask for a fork. Sushi Train is my favourite, I wish I was there right now, I wish I had a team of Sushi Train chefs in my kitchen making me delicious Sashimi. If you haven't been before well, the name is pretty self explanatory. Everyone sits around a big square table with a chef conveniently placed in the middle plating up sushi and putting it on the moving conveyor belt. This system calls for quick decisions though because once its come you have about 5 seconds to decide whether you want it or not. Prices are listed by the colour of the plate, I think the cheapest is $3.50. There is a separate menu for other stirfry dishes if you prefer, these are pretty good too.

I can't believe how busy this place is. I used to think that it was just a Friday lunch thing but…read morehaving gone there subsequently at other odd hours, I realise this is just the way it always is. It has been newly refurbed with interesting wall features such as the orange flowered screens that go up the wall and over the ceiling. You know a place is busy when there is a pack of chefs working just preparing the sushi, let alone how many they have out the back in the kitchen. Most Fridays there is a queue that trails out the door just to get a place to sit. Because of this, they have developed a raffle ticket system just to cope. Many will wait to get the booths which are certainly a better dining experience than being squeezed in like a sardine elbow to elbow with your neighbour; but even this can be fun. The sushi is certainly good. I used to get alarmed to see the plates of sushi piled up that weren't on the train, however, you soon realise that it gets turned over quickly enough. This sushi bar always has lots of different specials so you never get bored. One of my favourites here is the soft shelled crab rolls which are crunchy and tasty at the same time. I also got take away for the first time the other day. It is well set up for this in a self serve sort of way. The trays, tongs condiments, chopsticks and elastic bands are all on hand for you to select what you want from the train. I would thoroughly recommend this sushi bar but a good tip is to get your ticket early and then go and sit down outside and relax.
