The decor was modern, almost fast food like. The waitress was Asian but obviously not Japanese. When I ordered the sushi pieces by their Japanese name as they were written on the menu, she appeared to have trouble understanding. We only ordered a few things and the final order was not even correct; she had brought us Saba (mackerel) instead of Maguro (ahi tuna). Of course they were gracious about exchanging it. The sushi was of excellent quality. The pickled cabbage salad I ordered was wonderful. But it certainly did not taste Japanese. Instead it was of excellent German Krautsalat (coleslaw). Do people here know what good Japanese food, or what sushi fish should taste like?
