These guys are one of the few sushi places that deliver hibachi. If I knew beforehand about the shit quality, I'd reroute their delivery straight to trash central, a.k.a. Staten Island. I asked for hibachi fried rice and get white rice slightly colored with an actual half of an onion. No zucchini, no baby corn, no squash. The steak was burnt, but I kind of realized it was going to be when they didn't ask me over the phone how I wanted it. Speaking of which, good luck if you are trying to customize/substitute. Went there for lunch the other day. Nice ambiance. Food was delicious. The Miso was hot and flavorful. Everything was as it should be, cooked to order, fast service, and reasonably priced. They could have more of a drink selection, but all in all, it was great. I'm glad I found a new lunch spot. read more

Sushi in central NJ!! I was thrilled..at one point going twice a week. Sadly my joy has faded...the fish is frozen and the portions are horrible. I'm not sure if business has gone downhill lately but last time I was there and ordered some maki rolls they put a sliver of fish surrounded by rice. When I complained the person who made the 'rice roll' made some comment in his native language of course mocking me..took a gloved hand and removed it from my plate with a serious attitude. It's crazy b/c I use to frequent this location so much you would think I would have had better treatment. A no frills sushi place..poor service all of these can be made up for if the sushi is fresh and good portions. But when all 3 is lacking?? Then I'd be willing to drive the extra 20 minutes to find a better location. Teriyaki is decent but the rolls and service are the worst. read more

The sushi is fresh and excellent. Yes the service is slow but they're NEW. Quality is important and I loved it so much I took home a menu to order delivery. Priced right, and delicious! The person who said there "probably" is no low sodium soy sauce has obviously NEVER been there because it's on the table! read more

SUSHI HOUSE, Route 516, Old Bridge (same shopping center as the kosher meat market). They seem to be having some problems during their start-up. We found the service is very slow. It took ~35 minutes to be served. The hot tea was really lukewarm tea. The miso served to help fill the time, but the salad was not, it is considered part of the main course. There was only one soy sauce, which means there is probably no low sodium soy sauce. I had ordered a bento with tempura but they served no tempura sauce. The menu made the price look reasonable--for bento $9.99. But while most Japanese restaurants' bento box orders have five items plus rice and salad are served on the side, here there were only three items with rice and salad taking up the remaining two sections. My wife commented that she thought the sauces (e.g. teriyaki) were thin and watery. read more

Best lunch spot ever! I looooove the Sushi House! Almost every Friday, my sisters and i order from there with a very reasonable price. They have such a wide range and the sushi is so good. It taste fresh and i wont have to feel like i might get food poisoning. Hence, its one of my favorite places. read more
