Love to come here for authentic Chinese and dim sum. The sushi is really good too. Service is also always great with friendly servers.

The building is a bit dingy looking from outside but the inside was mostly clean and tastefully decorated. Some of the artwork could use a dusting ;) Service was quick and friendly and the sushi was tasty. Probably not my favorite sushi in Tucson, but definitely a contender. Lots of dim sum options also that I'll have to come back to try!

We used to live this place, but stopped going when we saw some low scores from the health department. Well the scores are better so we decided to give it one more try. Sad to say that from the moment you walk in you are in a dingy dark dining room. So quiet and awkward. The service is ok. The food was blah we kept our order to 3 rolls just to make sure we liked it. Spicy Rainbow roll no spice no flavor, spicy yellow tail was ok and the blue crab roll was the best roll. We also ordered a hot sake pretty tasty and the miso soup was good.

We met here on Sunday for dim sum for 10 people, and had great experience! Located right across from the rodeo grounds - we enjoyed all kinds of Chinese delicacies from broccoli in oyster sauce, to turnip cakes, buns of all kinds, shrimp, sesame balls - you name it! We enjoyed tea and dim sum for hours, we were all so full by the end, and they were able to split the check 10 ways for us - it ended up being just $33.00 per person including a tip for all of the wonderful food that we had! I haven't had dim sum in years, and this was an enjoyable way to spend a Sunday morning!

My boyfriend and I love sushi lounge! I tried dim sum for the first time here a few years ago and kept coming back. Staff is always so friendly, the restaurant host greets you as soon as you walk in, leads you to your table and is just so nice and attentive which to me is everything! Food always comes out quick and is nothing short of delicious every time.

Nothing fancy, but the food is solid. The best part for me is there is made to order dim sum on the weekends, The service can be slow, but friendly and locally owned.

Parking is ample, service was ok, tables were sticky, usual Chinese restaurant feel. Mind you it's a Sushi place. We only came to try to dim sum because it seems it's the only one in Tucson worthy of taking a chance. You will be happy to know, it's ok - yes, ok! Just ok. Sorry! The noodles were decent, my husband liked it, it was not exactly what I was looking for but well... The siomai was good, better than others I've had in Tucson, also the soup dumplings were good. I wasn't too crazy about the quail egg one. My husband liked the pork and the tripe, it was close enough to the ones we had in LA & SF. Will we be back? Hummmm - maybe to try the other dim sum items we didn't try. Oh! I forgot to tell you, the dim sum is made to order, no rolling carts.

Tried again on weekend; expanded dimsum service - the shrimp fun gao (shrimp w cilantro) was awesome - service is great as usual. The usual stuff - soup buns, shumai were very good also; Tucson needs to try out this dimsum place more - this is the best one we have tried in the city for sure.

Now THIS was altogether unexpected. Recommended by a friend when I mentioned missing dim sum, I was suspicious that a place with the words "sushi" and "lounge" would have dim sum in the first place. Don't judge this book by its cover. They have a broad range of dim sum from dumplings to tripe in ginger scallion and everything was delicious!

This place has incredible dim sum on weekends. Not too expensive either. The service could use some work, but the food is well worth it!

Does this place do all you can eat?

No, but they do make great food.

What days and times is dim sum served?

Hi Judy, I've been there on Saturdays and Sundays around noon time that's when the specialty dim sum items are offered per menu. Most dim sum items are available anytime during the week by menu. Hope that helps :)

We ordered a huge array of dim sum. The ladies were helpful in guiding us newbies and we had crispy egg rolls (of course), soup dumplings (loved them), BBQ pork bao buns (the filling was yum!), pork and shrimp shu mai (so tasty), shrimp har gow (never had anything like them and would definitely order again), and pork and shrimp wonton (so good). Yes, we took some home. The restaurant has plenty of tables, spaced well apart, which I appreciate. Everything is spotless. The parking lot has plenty of room and access is easy, even with the construction mess Grant currently has. Siri guided me down Palo Verde, took a right on Grant, and immediate turned right into the parking lot. I don't normally give five stars on a first visit, but we enjoyed Go Dim Sum so much that we're already planning a return trip. The only thing that could be improved is the sauce tray. The containers should be filled more and cleaned off.

The service has improved quite a bit, which made the overall experience more enjoyable. I also noticed that their expanded dining area is very clean and modern, which gives the restaurant a much nicer feel than before. One thing that specifically brought me back was their updated dim sum menu. They added several "dim sum sets," essentially sampler combo plates, which I thought was a great idea and a convenient way to try multiple items. Most of what I ordered tasted pretty good. The BBQ pork pastry was excellent, but the steamed BBQ pork bun reminded me a bit too much of the frozen ones you can buy at the grocery store. The biggest disappointment was the Taiwanese braised pork. It is usually a dish I really enjoy, but this time there were only small morsels of meat, and I had to search for them under all the sauce. Because of that, I still cannot quite give the restaurant five stars yet, though I truly hope I will be able to on a future visit.

So I searched Yelp and I found this gem, Jun Dynasty. We traveled an hour and forty minutes from Maricopa to try this place. I could've traveled to other Chinese restaurants in half the time in and around Phoenix and Scottsdale, but something just intrigues me about Tucson. Jun is located in an older part of Tucson and its location can be misleading. But trust me, you want to try this place. We were immediately greeted and seated after we entered the establishment. We were handed menus and asked what we'd like to drink and I ordered Oolong tea and water. The menu included several authentic dishes not found at other Chinese restaurants. I kept it simple though and ordered Walnut Shrimp for my wife, Steamed Dumplings in Peppercorn sauce, Salt & Pepper Fried Fish, and Bok Choy. Steamed dumplings were the first dish brought out. I ordered this because my wife can't eat anything spicy. Well this had a kick to it even I wasn't expecting. It was numbing, literally! Some restaurants will even list this type of dish as cooked in numbing oil. Soon after swallowing the dumpling, a numbing sensation enveloped our tongues. Sorry honey; I thought I ordered a mild dish. I ended up eating all of them. It was hard tasting the other dishes because of the numbing effect. The walnut shrimp came out next and I have to say, they were probably the best I had; even better than Fat's in Sacramento who set the bar back in the day. My wife devoured them. Bok choy was brought out next and she also loved them. They were served with I think a garlic sauce and it was very tasty. The Salt & Pepper fried fish were delivered last and they were also good. However, my wife preferred the walnut shrimp. I did have better S & P fish elsewhere, but these were still good. I can't speak enough about the staff. They were the friendliest I ever experienced in a Chinese restaurant. Our server always checked on us to make sure everything was fine. They all even said good-bye when we left. Yeah, I picked a good one!

Promptly seated, drinks brought out, order taken and food delivered fast, hot and correct. The background music was some chinese music tv station playing modern easy listening tunes and, along with the comfortable chairs and solid table made for a relaxing environment. The food? meh. You can see our order in the latest photo and how expensive it was. the Lo Mein was mostly tasteless and certainly lacking in thast "lo mein flavor." Although the meat was tender, the sauce was just a sticky brown sauce. Surprisingly, the Spicy Pickle Tofu was essentially the same sticky brown sauce as the Lo Mein but with some fried tofu in it and without the noodles but nothing otherwise remarkable. You can tell by looking at my earlier picture attached. The old picture shows a bright and colorful plate. The dish today was a dark brown (you could hardly see the tofu from the beef) as everything was just dark. Eggplant seemed to have a similar brown sauce as well but the eggplant was otherwise tasteless. Nothing popped. Chicken bites were bland and not at all crunchy. Just fried to soft texture but no real flavor. According to our server, the menu was just recently updated about a month ago. We noticed because one of our favorites was the Fried Taro Pie which is now gone from the menu and the server said yes, that's right. At Sky Dragon Restaurant (where my wife and I stopped in for their lunch special), I did something unforgivable. Something scandalous. Something so deliciously wrong it felt right: I ate my wife's entire eggroll. Yes, I swore I'd only take half. Just a polite nibble, a respectful sample, the kind of marital sharing that earns you points in the long game. But then the eggroll crackled, whispered sweet nothings, and before I knew it... it was gone. Vanished. Devoured. I betrayed my vows of "in sickness, in health, and in splitting appetizers evenly." But can you blame me? Sky Dragon's food is dangerously good. My Cashew Chicken was a culinary power ballad: tender chicken, crunchy cashews, and sauce so smooth Barry White could've sung it. The crab puff? A fried golden treasure chest filled with cream-cheese glory--like winning the lottery but tastier. The Egg Flower Soup was so comforting it should come with a blanket and a bedtime story. Meanwhile, my wife's Chicken with Vegetables looked like a scene from a kung fu movie where broccoli and carrots fight crime--colorful, crisp, heroic. She took home half of her meal and she watched me annihilate her eggroll like Godzilla on downtown Tokyo. Portions? Perfect. Flavors? Legendary. Regrets? Only that I didn't order a second eggroll before my marriage lawyer finds out. Final Verdict: Sky Dragon deserves 5 stars, a standing ovation, and maybe a Nobel Prize in Fried Foods. And yes--next time, my wife is getting her OWN eggroll. (Probably two, just to be safe.)
