Thanks to fellow Yelpers for this recommendation! Visiting Norcross to check out granite warehouses and Sushi Mito is that area. Arrived around noon on Saturday and it was already very busy. Plenty of options for hot and cold selections. We sat in a cozy comfy booth by the sushi bar where the experienced chefs created lots of items as well as greeting everyone. We opted for the panko shrimp pseudo bento box that included miso soup, salad, 5 tasty shrimp, + seafood salad ! We ordered their version of a caterpillar roll which included 3 types of fresh fish inside and avocado outside. For the California eel roll, we omitted the krab stick for more avocado, eel was on top. Different but tasty version. Plenty of food especially for lunch. Service was friendly, efficient, and prompt especially for the volume of diners. Overall, a very pleasant experience and recommend it! read more

I went to Sushi Mito to meet some friends for a get together. It was my 1st time going to Sushi Mito. It was on my places to try. But, we waited over 45 min to be seated even though the hostess said about 20 min. which was fine. After we were seated our server came and brought us our drinks. She gave us time to look over the menu. The food was very good. Very fresh and tasty. The service was lacking in my opinion. One of my friends ordered the special and had to wait over an hr for her food. Everyone had already finished eating and she still didn't get her food. The server was no where to be found. I feel the server should of been more attentive to our table. I looked around and everyone else seemed to be waited on, on a timely manner but our group of friends. The ambiance was pretty cool. I liked the way the restaurant was set up. But overall I was very disappointed in the service, even though the food was really good. So I'm not sure if I'd go back for a 2nd time. read more

Went for Sunday lunch, right at opening. Place seemed to have some regulars coming in. We started with oninomyaki, which is not on the Sunday lunch menu but can be asked for. This is more of a pancake in the traditional way, fluffy batter. We missed the cabbage completely as there wasn't any, finding seafood in it was difficult as well. It was topped with sliced pork and all the sauces. It was a miss 2/5 stars. Next we have the lady's lunch special which is a lot of food! Start with soup,salad. You also get tofu, egg, a grilled piece of marinated fish and a full bowl of chirashi. The cod was flavorful, tofu was my favorite, the sushi seemed a bit rubbery which was sad. Overall, 3.5/5. Husbands got the tempura udon. Kind of hard to mess that up, broth was a bit salty though. 4/5. Our server did a fantastic job. Very attentive and pleasant to talk to. Such a great place to enjoy Japanese food! The inside has a nice ambiance, reminding me of some places I visited in Japan. The menu has a variety of Japanese set meals, and the lunch prices are very reasonable. They also provide hot green tea, which is always a plus in my books. I got the lady's lunch, which came with soup and salad. The mini chirashi bowl was delicious, as was all the side dishes that came with the set. They even gave me a small piece of cake for dessert. My friends and I came here to celebrate one of their birthdays. Reservations were made in advance since we were a larger group. Since we saw some parties waiting by the door, it was definitely a good move for the reservations. Although, if you had a small room, I imagine it wouldn't be a long wait for a table. This place never disappoints. Came here again during the holiday season after a year away and it was as good as I remembered! We got here right at opening time, so had no trouble getting seated, but it was pretty crowded by the time we left. Typically when I go out for sushi, I opt for AYCE to get the best price and go for quantity over quality. On this occasion, I decided I wanted to splurge for some good, quality sushi and Sushi Mito was recommended to me. After reviewing the menu, I could tell I picked the right place to go to. There were so many good options and prices are actually very fair for the size of the dishes. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to get. Since we were a party of 4, we decided we would all just order together so that we could all try more things. We ended up ordering the chef's special for 2, 3 rolls (orange blossom, salmon Serrano, and dynamite roll), and 2 sides of edamame & fries. There also was a bluefin special going on, so we ordered one dish off that menu- the 6 piece Toro Otoro Nigiri. The chef's special for 2 came out on a large plate. Although it was "for 2," there was definitely enough to share among the 4 of us. The sashimi and nigiri pieces had 2 of each thing while the rolls had 3-4 of each. The cuts on the sashimi and nigiri were actually pretty big that I was able to share half of each piece with my husband so that we could all try each thing. There were over 40 pieces of sushi on the plate. The rolls were also huge and had big cuts of fish on them as well. I loved the toro otoro nigiri! It was unlike anything I had ever had before. Everything we ate tasted so fresh and high quality fish. It definitely was an experience I'm not used to since I usually eat AYCE sushi instead. Based on this experience, I would love to come back in the future and try other things off their menu. Wanted to give this place a try because a friend said they had really good Bento boxes and combos. Brought my kids here during lunch. They have separate menus for dinner, lunch, Sunday brunch as well. We came on a Saturday afternoon and they were fairly busy. Had to wait a little bit, but it wasn't too bad. Service was great. Our waiter was very attentive and came back periodically. The decor was very nice, fit with the Japanese themed decor. They had a pretty extensive menu. Everything from sushi, to Ramen, to tonkatsu. Followed the recommendations of a fb group and had a fantastic dinner at Sushi Mito! This is the "lady's dinner" plus the izakaya portion of the veggie tempura. Located in Peachtree Corners it's about a 35 minute drive from where we live but the drive is worth it. Came here with my family after watching a movie at Mall of Georgia and enjoyed our entire meal from start to finish. Here's what we ordered: *Edamame *Beef loin *Bacon scallop *EBI fry *Okonomiyaki Toro power roll Toro nigiri and gunkan Negiri premium Chirashi Miso ramen All dishes were excellent but we found the Okonomiyaki was a little on the heavy side so we didn't finish that and took it to go. The sushi was extremely fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor -- exactly what you hope for when ordering sushi to go. Hands down the best sushi restaurant in the area! We went on a Friday night a little before eight and the place was PACKED. Since it was my first time there, I wanted to see the quality of the fish so I got the chirashi($31) and the nigiri premium ($45) And oh boy...I was thoroughly impressed! All of the pieces were melt in your mouth, buttery smooth. The rice was cooked nicely as well, not too dry but also not too sticky and it wasn't drenched in vinegar like some places i've been to. The prices aren't cheap but I think they are worth the quality. I've crowned Sushi Mito as my favorite sushi place and will be going back to try other items in their menu! 10/10 recommmend read more

But if the staff and the comfort of this place isn't enough, you will find yourself in appreciation of the food. We went to have sushi. Whether you want to order a la carte, rolls, noodles, or sashimi, they have it all! We ordered the agadashi tofu and the hamachi collar to share. We each got the premium sushi plate, which came with miso soup and salad. The hamachi collar was market price ($25) and while good, I felt that it was overcooked/fried and was a bit dry. It was not fall apart flakey. The agedashi tofu was just ok. A lot of bonito flakes but the flavor from the sauces did not really soak into the tofu. The food was wonderful!! We were seated in a booth area which was still spacious surprisingly. Everyone in my party got the Lady's Lunch except for myself, and we all truly enjoyed our meals. This has been my favorite sushi place in Georgia for a few years now, the quality of fish and portion sizes are great for the price. Staff is incredibly kind and attentive, the restaurant has nice atmospheric lighting and good music. You can sit at the bar and watch the chefs prepare your sushi or sit in a more private booth. My family's favorite sushi place. The ambiance is really nice with booths. Service is on par and very attentive. Kids got salmon bento and tempura and husband got the soba nigiri combo. I got the roll and nigiri combo (was too hungry and didnt take pic of mine). This place is authentic meaning they do Japanese dishes very very well while mess up on americanized Japanese like cream cheese or fried rolls. I also got the ladys lunch last time and it came with mini chirashi and it was also very delicious. Their soba was done right where it was cooked to perfection. I just it was closer to buford/suwanee area~ having to drive 40 min with kids for a meal prevents us from going as often.
