Sushi shop in my mind is a place that borders barely on the side of mediocrity but when you have a craving it fits the bill. Don't come here to think a expert trained sushi check is preparing your meal. It's probably an Alexandre, Chloe ou Marie preparing it. They do an okay job of presentation but keep in mind it's fast food sushi. Sushi is very Québécois style whereby the rice is sweetened and the soy sauce also. Cuts of fresh fish are done with a fine tuned laser and are origami paper thin. Pricing is delicately decided on the outside cusp of what you would consider "trop chere" (too expensive) to pay for lunch. On my visit I was looking to have a rapid lunch so I went with a serving from the open fridge cooler. It was adequate for the needs and fresh. Thank you deshi's at Mascouche sushi shop you are still serving "young Grasshopper" style sushi in my mind but when one craves it's probably the easiest option to help satisfy a basic need.
