This might just be my new favorite sushi restaurant in town! Innovative. Tasty. Fresh. Quick. Cozy. Yup that sums it up. We ordered the honey bear maki, ebi shrimp mango maki, and the volcano maki. While everything was superb, specific highlights were: 1. the seafood salad topping on the volcano maki had a good kick to it, 2. I've never eaten a honey bear maki before and it was such a beautifully crafted maki, taste and appearance wise, 3. The ebi shrimp mango maki was like a palate cleanser, fresh shrimp and mildly sweet mango. Cannot wait to order from here again. I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could! read more

Really amazing lunch discovery today - sushi lunch was fresh with good selection of fish and a perfect amount or portion. Included salad and miso. Teenager was happy as was my husband and I. I was looking for a takeout sushi spot to satisfy my sushi craving when I came across Sushinoya! What caught my eye was the spicy trio deal for $22 that included soup and salad. This included spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy yellow tail. I couldn't be happier with my to go order! The restaurant has a parking lot which gave me easy access to go in and out quickly. I went into the restaurant and was greeted by the host who handed my order. The service was fast and efficient. I can't believe this is a suburban sushi place. The dishes are far more inventive than I've found anywhere else. The woman who owns and runs the place is a lovely, friendly hostess who's very attentive. They seem to do lots of takeout, but they have an intimate sunlit, tidy dining area, that always has a few couples or families dining in. Great local place to go to. The sushi is very fresh, rolls are tasty. Have tried almost everything in the menu with no disappointment. Love the hot and sour soup. I usually get the sashimi dinner. My son loves the udon noodles. Staff is amazing, and the sushi chef is awesome in creating something different for my taste. Will recommend it. The other great thing to talk about is their schedule; they are open later than other restaurants in the area, making it convenient for families that work late and families with late sport days. Will be nice if they add more rolls variety to the menu, but like I mentioned before the chef is able to make anything else to your taste. The ambience is nice. The parking lot is relatively small and the restaurant itself isn't too large. Service is so friendly and accommodating. Sushi was really delicious and fresh. Hayashi Sushi Review What an amazing new find! We live in the area and have been having a hard time finding good sushi. My family and I went last weekend and we had a wonderful experience and found out that this gem has only been here for a few months. We will definitely be going back. We started with: Edamame - They did a nice prep on this, it was not overcooked and salted well. Naruto Roll - A different play on a roll. Scallion Pancake - They were just how I like them, crispy and served fresh. For dinner we had: Chicken Yaki udon - I haven't had this in a while and it was very well prepared with just the right amount of sauce. We also had a wide assortment of Sushi that was done very well and tasted quite fresh. Sushi Nigiri- Sake Hamachi Ikura Red Snapper Sushi Rolls- Salmon avocado roll California Maki Speciality Rolls- Mexican Maki Honey Bear Maki Rainbow Maki Spider Maki The portions were good, the quality was high and the price was decent. I drive by this place pretty often since it's new in my neighborhood. I ordered the shrimp habachi lunch to-go with extra grilled noodles. The lady inside seemed really nice. It was nobody inside probably because of the time of day. I'm sure if it was in another location it be booming for lunch. I came home and my food was fresh and REALLY DELICIOUS. The veggies were super crisp with bite and crunch. The shrimp tasted fresh and not rubbery. I want to go back and try other things on the menu. Nice people, really underwhelming food. Go the salmon bento box. The miso soup tasted more like hot water than soup (didn't eat it), and many items including the teriyaki salmon, the steamed broccoli, and the potsticker were under seasoned. The tempura was both under seasoned and the breading was doughy, so that was also a miss (didn't eat it). The three pieces of sushi were fine, but not remarkable. Despite being tucked away this place is a must! They have definitely improved it from the previous restaurant and already has made a name for themselves in the neighborhood. It appears to be family owned and the lady at the front is really friendly and welcoming. The place is really well kept and clean. The sushi as many have mentioned is really fresh and well done. As a gluten free eater (not by choice) this place made sure I didn't get any cross contamination and they had gluten free soy sauce. The price is pretty reasonable for sushi roll.
