    Nashi + Lychee Cooler
    Jenna R.

Drinks: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Stumbled across this bar while I was in the Venetian and my sister and I were wanting to chill and grab a drink. We just pulled up to the bar and had a seat and was immediately helped. First off, I love the vibe that this place gives. It's kind of just in the middle of a walkway and it gives this vibe like you're sitting outdoors under a tree. I thought it was unique and I really liked that. We ordered the Nashi and the Lychee Cooler, which were both refreshing and on the sweeter side which is how we like our cocktails. Our bartenders were super friendly and great. Even at the bar you can still order food too, but we opted to just have a drink! There were other cocktails we were curious in trying too, so I guess that means we need to come again!

A little Japanese/Peruvian/Brazilian restaurant, we were overflow here from the karaoke place in Venetian - while we waited for space to open up, folks hung out at the large bar here and had a few drinks. They have a large seating area and private dining space in the back for events, too. Decor was a lot of wood and orange/red flowers and plants. They used to have one of these a long time ago in NYC (7th Ave) so the food was familiar, lots of mango and fruit inspired sushi and other dishes.

Cool interior. Mojito and Espresso Martini.

Located in the Grand Canal Shops at the Ventian & Palazzo Hotel. It's a Japanese-Peruvian-Brazilian Fusion restaurant. Awesome interior decor. We loved their Happy Hour menu! Because of our fellow Yelper's recommendations, we had the Rock Shrimp Tempura, which was just the right spice. And the Soft Shell Crab Slider was super delicious! The Salmon Avocado Rolls were great too. We saw the table next to us had The Pao De Queijo, we we had to get one too! Amazing with the butter! For Happy Hour drinks, my wife loved her Espresso Martini. My Mojito was on point. Our server Diana was super friendly and welcoming. Everyone on staff, including the hostess up front was always smiling. It is pricey, but their Happy Hour is worth it. When in the Venetian or heading to The Sphere, I definitely recommend stopping by.

Taste of Samba 5 Course Meal for 2

Visited Sushi Samba for a late night dinner. The restaurant is a fusion of Japanese, Peruvian and Brazilian foods all designed to please your palette with exotic flavors. The restaurant is well turned out with the lighting and furniture. Staff were outstanding. Menu is diverse serving a variety of meats, but the speciality is of course seafood. I went with the Taste of Samba. A 5 course meal (built for 2 people), but they made an exception and allowed me to eat it as a solo diner. I am very thankful they did. It was delicious. The five courses were: 1. Appetizer: Edamame and Plantain Chips w/ Aji Amarillo (a delicious sauce for dipping) 2. Crispy Yellowtail Taquitos, Japanese A5 Kobe Gyoza in a Kenosha purée with sweet soy, a Baby Gem Salad w/ basil, miso and pistachio and a Salmon Tiraduto w/ kinkan honey, garlic ponzu and a garlic chip (all were good, but my favorite was the Salmon Tiraduto - delicious) 3. Sea Bass Anticucho w/ miso, Peruvian Corn (has a completely different texture than regular sweet corn but very interesting flavor and Filet Mignon Anticucho with Aji Panca (also all very good) 4. Tiger Maki made with King Crab, steamed shrimp and shrimp tempura along with wasabi mayo and beetroot yogurt and eel sauce as well as an assortment of Nigri. Tonight it was Tuna, Yellowtail and Salmon. 5. Dessert Course was Mochi. Soft Japanese Rice cakes filled with a variety of ice cream (tonight was strawberry, orange and pistachio. I did not care for the pistachio) along with a white ganache. Service was very good as well. The five course meal is $120.00 for 2. Not counting your drinks. It was definitely a favorite. This sampling gives you the opportunity to try a variety of flavors that perhaps you would not otherwise encounter. Don't be shy. Try the Taste of Samba 5 Course Meal. Enjoy!!

Very modern and upscale restaurant. I ordered the Mango Bandita mocktail which was tasty. For my starter. I had the miso soup and for my main course, I decided on the salmon avocado roll which was delicious. Everything was great including the service!

Came for drinks and some apps on a Saturday night around 11:30. The restaurant wasn't too busy. The vibes are so nice and very spacious. We were mostly there for their drinks but we did get some small apps. I ordered the tom yam (gin, cilantro, chili, lemongrass, lime leaf and ginger syrup). The flavors were soooo good. Who would have thought cilantro works so well in a cocktail. It really did have tom yum spice overall. For food we got the shishito peppers, edamame, and the Brazilian cheese bread. Everything was tasty. Service was really odd. It felt very pushy. We were constantly asked if we wanted more drinks and food even though we said we just wanted snacks and we were winding down for the night.

As a self-proclaimed sushi snob... this place absolutely delivered. The sashimi was to die for. Seriously, some of the freshest I've had in a long time. It practically melted in my mouth, and every plate that came out was absolutely beautiful. If you've read any of my other reviews, you already know I judge restaurants by their dessert. So naturally... we ordered three desserts. Mind you, there were only two of us dining. No regrets... Every single one was incredible, but that warm cake with vanilla ice cream? I haven't stopped thinking about it. Between the amazing sashimi, incredible desserts, attentive service, and beautiful atmosphere, this place exceeded every expectation. It's the perfect spot for a date night or any excuse to treat yourself. My only complaint? I eventually had to stop eating! I'll definitely be back... and yes, I'll probably order three desserts again...

Sushi Samba is a fav of ours, especially when in Vegas staying at Palazzo. We made it for Happy Hour yay! The service is always A+ and their options are great. The restaurant bar is so pretty and chill and comfy to hang out in and people watch then go shopping after! Bar is never that full from what we have seen, it's easy to grab a couple of chairs. Happy hour menu was great, it had drinks and several food options. Def on the pricier side but the food is worth it. We tried the fried shrimp spicy and delish and a fried crab slider, also very good. I ordered the small glass of sake in the photos, it was so yum, not too sweet. My guy got the mojito they had and he said it was excellent. We would have tried more food but we had dinner reservations at another place a little while after. You have to visit and try their HH!

What a lovely time. The restaurant is gorgeous. Service AMAZING. There is tons of staff circling around to make sure you're always taken care off. Food was sooo tasty. My espresso martini was in the coolest glass ever. And the samba dancers with the drummers were the icing on the cake! Also they gave us free champagne to celebrate our anniversary which was such a nice touch. 10/10 experience. So glad we chose this place for our one night in Vegas

Tasty but pricey! This is definitely an occasion dinner for us. The interior is super cool and the place is gigantic. We usually sit in the main area you see in the front but we got taken to another large area in the back. Service was excellent and food came out perfect. If you have room in the budget and a party of 4, I recommend the cocktail tree it's so fun! Drink: - Lychee Cooler cocktail - yummy and sweet, comes with a lychee on top and a large green leaf shooting up Dinner: - JAPANESE A5 KOBE GYOZA* - soooo good and worth it to try - Shishito Peppers - always a good idea for apps - CHURRASCO RIO GRANDE* - yummy tasty steak with dipping sauces and other good stuff - SAMBA VEGAS roll - fish on top of crispy rice, good but overpriced - NEO TOKYO* roll - has tuna and super good our fave

    Mel R.

Definitely the right choice for a late night happy hour! After seeing a show at the sphere, we wanted a quick bite. Quick, easy and delicious! We were there for the reverse happy hour, and the bar was winding down for the evening so we were happy that we were able to sit at the bar and enjoy the stunning golden tree for my food photos. Service was fast.

First night in Vegas and we had to come here since it has been my favorite in the past and always a great way to start the trip off right. I feel like most restaurants in Las Vegas it is always a maze to find and this one is a little more on the hidden side since it isn't around a ton of things. We were easily able to get a reservations and got sat over in the back area towards the sushi bar. It wasn't super crowded even for a Friday night and we just ordered a few different items because we were not starving. I remember them having some other sushi rolls or something in prior visits that I didn't see on the menu this time but things change. We enjoyed some drinks and decided to keep it simple and had a great time. See you again next time!

Is happy hour available in the entire restaurant or only seated at the bar?

    Entire restaurant

    When's happy hour?

    Sun-fri 3-6

When does your kitchen close on Friday night? Thank you!

It's midnight at least - was there in November and this was the only place in the Palazzo on a Sunday night that had a late night kitchen and we ate at the bar at midnight

    Can you pay by cash?

    Yes

    Price all you can eat?

No it's a higher end restaurant that's not focused on sushi

    Is it buffet?

No, it's a full menu of items to order individually.

    What is the corkage fee?

    $35

Is there a dress code? some yelp reviews mention a dress code but there's nothing mentioned about it on the website.

All three of us were dressed casual- shorts & shirts & my husband had a tank top on so I think that may be why we were seated in their beautiful & large back room that we absolutely loved!

Do you have gluten free options and gluten free soy sauce?

Hello Brittany, We have both a gluten free menu and soy sauce.

Is this the same SUSHISAMBA from Japan?

Can you order and take out? Also can you customize some of the rolls? For example add some things to avocado rolls?

Yes you can order take out and customize rolls. Thank you for the inquiry.

    Good for kids?

It depends on the timing. For lunch or an early dinner, I would say yes. I also suggest letting them know the age of your kids and I trust they will seat you in the best place for your group.

Does the restaurant have soy wraps available for substitution instead of the seaweed?

Yes! They offer soy wrap substitutes!

    Kids menu? Yes or no?

    Not a kids place

    What time is happy hour?

They call it Samba hour. Its Sun – Fri, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 11:00 PM to close. They also have brunch. Saturday and Sunday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Still a good place to go if we don't eat raw fish?

Yes there are other dishes such as tempura, ramen bowls , noodles

We are staying at the Palazzo and was offered resort credit, are we allowed to use the resort credit at the restaurant?

It works for Venetian resort credit so I would assume the same for Palazzo
