I love sushi joints like this. The rolls were pretty good - well put together and most importantly fresh fish. Great selection and variety. And the prices were on point too! I enjoyed both the rolls I got and will definitely come back to try more. I really like eel so seeing several items on the menu with it was also a big draw for me. Would go here probably every other week if it was a little closer to me

The best customer service and staff, another amazing round of food as always. Was craving for it again so we came back and got our usual orders: spicy tuna, crispy rice, baked muscles, avocado eel roll and something new we tried was the yellow tail sashimi. Everything was delicious.

Super fresh and reasonably priced sushi with friendly service and kicked-back environment!!

One of the best spots that you can get affordable rice plates and the lunch special is where it's at for $9.99 all week long. I've stopped by here multiple times and the chicken teriyaki plate is my go to!!! The portions are a good amount, chicken teriyaki was flavorful, and includes a salad to help everything keep it balance. Love the free matcha roll cake when you post on story (the usually have something free if you post IG stories). Overall, a decent option to get you a nice bite of food that will leave you satisfied. Ambiance is nice and modern, seating inside and outside, and parking is limited in plaza. Service was good.

I ordered sushi here, it's not my first time. It's delicious, but sometimes I have to wait a long time for my order. It's also located in a good location on Ventura Blvd. I recommend it to everyone

I am not a fan of this sushi place . I was trying their rolls a few times .. so so This place is popular for Togo orders

My son wanted to try out SushiStop and I chose to come to this location. I have been to the Burbank location twice but it was my first time here. Let's start to say how great the customer service was here, very attentive and friendly waiters. Overall the ambiance was great. Beautiful indoor space and some outdoor seating is available. I found parking on the street easily. We started with edamame, which was served hot, a seaweed salad I didn't like much, we ordered a few rolls The lemon roll was my most favorite I have to say. I ordered it twice. We also ordered a salmon roll, a tuna roll, tune poke hand rolls and a yuzu albacore roll. Everything tasted ok, I would say it's average sushi place but reasonably priced. My son enjoyed his lunch and said he would love to come back again with the whole family.

Every time we want affordable and approachable sushi in the valley this is our stop. Don't know why it has a 3 star average, when they deliver on exactly what they are. Affordable, consistent sushi.

"SOLD OUT TODAY" after they charged me! So if it's sold out, why is it on the menu??
    James R.

WORST SERVICE EVER. THEY WILL SELL YOU AND CHARGE YOU FOR FOOD THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE AVAILABLE! THEY WON'T REFUND THE MONEY! So if you order something they advertise for delivery, you'll pay for the item and then when you get it delivered, the item is missing and all they do is make a little note on the receipt "whoops! We ran out of this!" They won't do anything to take that item off the menu or give you the money back. THAT IS CALLED STEALING.

One of the best sushi spots I've had a in a while actually. We didn't really do any appetizers and went straight in for the fish. Started off with a couple of hand rolls, we did the crab hand roll and O toro hand roll. Crab hand roll wasn't as impressive, I've had better to be honest. I didn't let that experience ruin it for me because the toro hand roll was delicious. I think they add a piece of mint and it complimented the hand roll. Very crunchy nori wrapper and good rice to fish ratio. For our sushi we started with chu toro tuna, salmon belly, and halibut. Super fresh melt in your mouth quality. Halibut was interesting with the truffle, first time definitely won't be the last. We ended it with red snapper and black snapper. Absolutely amazing, I think the black snapper or the red snapper was slightly charred. It was so good. To say the least, this restaurant was worth it!

Nice of the chef to switch out roe for halibut for me on my omakase. However, probably the worst omakase I've ever had. No creativity, nothing felt premium, chewy fish, flavors didn't mesh, and half of it was salty. The miso soup wasn't scorching, which i appreciated at first but that meant the last few sips were fairly room temp. The real crab handroll was good. If the price point was $35 sushi set I'd give 5/5 but this is supposed to be premium omakase. I've been to other Sushi Enya locations and had good experiences, so this was very disappointing. Stick to the rolls and nigiri.

Long story short, our dining experience felt rushed. We waited about 45 min- an hour for a table. Once we were seated, we were pushed to order right away. I had come here before but it was my husband's first time dining. He needed more time to decide and look over the menu. Well he didn't get much of a chance to look at what he wanted to eat because the server was standing there waiting. Literally staring. What would you like to order? I explained to her that it was his first time here and he needed time to look over the menu and asked her if she can come back later. She proceeded to say it will take longer to get our orders in and delay the kitchen staff. That didn't end there. Right after our food was served, one of the servers came by to ask if everything was ok and if we needed anything. We said no. Shortly after, the server dropped the bill at our desk. Mind you, we were not even close to finishing our meal. I understand there are other customers waiting for a table but you shouldn't be rushing the customers currently eating. They clearly prioritize turning tables faster to make profit. It was not a pleasant or enjoyable dining experience. I would choose another sushi spot.

It was definitely not what I've expected or ever experienced in a Japanese restaurant. We were quickly greeted by the staff and be seated by the wall. The upholstery of our seats were torn. The area where we were sitting was a bit too dark and could definitely add more lights for customers to see their menus. After giving a look at the menu, our server asked if we were ready. I said it's our first time so we need some time to look through the menu. She replied ok and left. We mainly ordered sushi items. Servers brought over each item one at a time. When I almost finished mine, my family is still waiting for theirs. You do see the staff walk by the tables constantly. I find that a lot of the criticism levied against Tokyo Haus expects a restaurant that caters to all types of customers. I find that restaurants are like works of art in that art that tries to appeal to everyone won't appeal to anyone. I think Tokyo Haus's excellence will always be found in the AYCE option. That's what makes it a great restaurant. Becoming a regular here has been a delight, especially after finding our favorite items and sections of the menu. The service was unremarkable at first, but with some geniality and consideration, the servers will open up to you and take care of you. Over the past year or so, we've come to appreciate Alex, who always makes sure our meals are delicious. The restaurant itself is temperate and not too loud with plenty of space between tables/booths. The music playing is not too loud and allows for conversation to flow. They upgraded their ordering system to a tablet-based system a while ago, which has greatly streamlined the ordering process. If you're looking for recommendations on what to order, I highly recommend trying one of the AYCE options and ordering the lemon pepper salmon nigiri (I order at least 50 pieces of it every time!). The eel, salmon, and tuna nigiri are also great choices. The cucumber salad is a new favorite side we found, alongside the brussel sprouts, edamame, and green beans.

While that can add up quickly, the quality made it worth it for me. Every sushi item we ordered was incredibly fresh and tasted great. The fish was clean, flavorful, and clearly high quality. Nothing felt like an afterthought, and I was happy with everything we tried. Another plus is that they validate 2 hour parking in the same plaza, which made the visit much more convenient.
