In those 5 years, although I did not find their rates unreasonable and they were always very responsive, my tax returns were never filed on time. Each year they filed for extensions, including the final year despite a significant change in my business situation and my express pleadings to have the tax return done on time so that I could plan appropriately for my new situation. JM Solutions is a local family-owned business run by very nice people who just always seem to be in over their heads.

Despite never agreeing to any terms or services, nor actually selecting Mr Degroot as my advisor in the end, they continue to insist I received advice and owe a ludicrous $750 for the meeting and emails. Be extremely cautious even taking a meeting! This is not someone I recommend anyone trust with their money.
