Definitely one of the more surprising and amazing meals in the area. I knew little about the chef and the restaurant going in and maybe that was what made it most compelling. Chef Sven is a fun loving guy and it shows across bis kitchen team. The dining room staff reflects that too. You never want to go j to a gastronomic place and have it be dead quiet.
The cuisine evokes many things from the chefs upbringing in Switzerland but combines with techniques and influences from all over the world. I noticed Swiss spins on a lot of Japanese techniques in my meal. All good but it doesn't matter if it isn't delicious. And it the courses have it in spades here. Perhaps the best asparagus dish I've ever had exists here. And when you are in the area in spring you eat a lot of dann. Asparagus !
Turns one of the managers is Italian so I got to do part of the service i. Italian to the confusion of the Swiss Germans. The wine and juice pairings are also excellent and they allowed me to do a mix of each
