Spent way too much for this association to ruin the game for my kid. She played softball for the U10 group, got coaches that didn't even know the rules to this age group. So the club's rule about "Must be Babe Ruth Coach Certified" is BS. This is rec league and all players are suppose to play that go to practice and follow the rules. Well That didn't happen for some kids, instead they sat on the bench wondering why they don't get to play, while other girls that don't show up at practice, get to play. Some parents brought it up, coaches gave excuses, and proceed to treat some kids better then others. So basically, if you don't know your team coaches or the board members, your kid might get slighted. read more
