Most of my garments were clean, however my coat came back smelling of fish. Other than the one coat, my other items were clean. 3 day turn around time and reasonable prices. Hopefully next time nothing smells bad! read more

This is the place to come with your dry cleaning. They are much cheaper than other dry cleaners…read more They do a really good job and are very friendly. I have had duvets cleaned here very reasonably. Coats and jackets etc are also done very well and for a decent price - no rip offs. The service is very quick - next day or day after, and they are nicely packaged. There is also ample parking- directly outside the shop - so you don't crease your nicely cleaned garment in walking a distance to your car.

I always find the price of dry cleaning extortionate - but I suppose in campared to other Dry Cleaners Johnsons are OK. I have had duvets cleaned by them. Once they tore one and I was given a replacement - after a 'bit of a discussion'! They do a good job of cleaning them -but are expensive - these days it is almost cheaper to buy new! I have had coats cleaned here - and they do a good job of these too. The staff aren't all that friendly - but it doesn't really matter. The spped of service is good - you can usually get it back the day after - or the day after that. If you have to have something dry cleaned I would recommend them.

It's not really to my taste, to be honest, although I'm sure it's a very clever work of public art. The statue is inspired by 'Prometheus Unbound,' the lyrical drama by the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley which concerns the suffering of Prometheus at the hands of Zeus. Shelley kneels in the centre with nymphs perhaps his muses - on either side. Apparently, Shelley spent time in the area for several weeks during 1811 and 1812, staying at Nantgwillt House and Cwm Elan House which are now submerged under two of the reservoirs here. The sculptor was Christopher Kelly and the statue was completed in 1988.
