They are willing to hold our purchases until the day we fly out as we do NOT want to carry it with us during our travels. Sadly, so far NOT one of their competitors was willing to do that! Both visits had service at 5 stars! Price - Expensive. You are paying for the brand and service. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success. Just discovered you are now owned by Louis Vuitton. Congrats on your parent company's success since 1854 and with all their acquisitions. I have not been a customer for a while, but when in France... The order was not received on time and when delivered (after email reminders) contained only half of the order. All of these mistakes are more or less understandable/forgivable. However, the client service that I received afterwards was not. Empreintes refused to engage with my complaints, repeatedly closing enquiry tickets without discussion resolution. As a result, I have not received a necklace of EUR65 value without adequate explanation (or even care) from Empreintes. Empreintes Paris is not a trustworthy online vendor.

Standing in the shop, it seemed quite wearable and I spent $2500.00 on it. Wearing it during normal movement was another story as the strands spread out and fell off of my shoulders and the clasp frequently opened. Meeting Nikolai Monies at a show in NYC, he demonstrated how it's supposed to be worn, for which I didn't care at all and had it been shown to me in Paris, would have dissuaded me from making the purchase. He gave me his card and told me that WHENEVER I got back to Paris, to bring it to exchange for store credit. Upon entering the shop last week, the same woman absolutely refused to do that, offering only another necklace of the exact same style (after an argument claiming that it's HER store and not his.). Another woman then entered the store, and claimed it was HER store and refused to do anything. I called the # on Nikolai Monies's card, but noone picked up. The 2nd woman then grabbed my arm, saying she'd heard enough and it was closing time (6pm, a lie), and that I must leave. By that time I had become fearful and left. I also emailed Mr. Monies to no response and am now back in New York with an unwearable piece of jewelry, having no idea who really owns the store, but desiring to warn people to STAY AWAY!

I received the best customer service, even though I wasn't 100% sure I was going to leave with anything despite the plan. I originally wanted a basic black trio bag and that's exactly what I came in for. Too bad there was no black trio bag available. I was so bummed. I didn't want to look around because I knew I couldn't afford anything else in my price range (high class, no income should be my motto). It says "Nathalie" rang me up but I'm not even sure if that's her name- anyway, I told the SA who was helping me my budget and she assured me that it was totally ok to have one! She said they didn't have the trio bag but they had just gotten a shipment in that morning and wanted to show me something else I might like. At first, she showed me a gray trotteur bag but she figured that I would like the black more. She even brought out different sizes of the bag so I could try it on! In the end, I got my first Celine bag and I'm so glad it was a Phoebe Philo piece. I recommend this boutique because I totally felt welcomed and despite telling the SA I might not even buy anything, she still wanted to help me find something I liked!

Bright colors , color combinations, asymmetric lines--in NYC I'm often asked where I got the dress, pants, jacket, scarf , etc. Best to phone in advance to be sure of opening hours. BTW: a sleek, innovative art gallery next door, Galerie Louchard, makes this worth the trip to this neighborhood next to Canal l'Ourcq: plenty of cafés & restaurants , space for strolling. Metro Jaures or Laumiere.
