The original was in terrible condition and getting progressively worse over the last 15+ years. The private seller in Bethalto hid a lot of the problems with duct tape before selling it to me. I brought Kevin the new top and they did a great job replacing it. It looked like it was right off the assembly line. Reasonably priced and didn't take long. They even went above and beyond what was agreed upon and fixed other parts of the top that were broken for no additional charge. March and April, because we live in Arizona in those months. When I finally raised and tried to lower the top it would not open and close completely.
