Can I give this 6-stars? We literally tried to go every single day after we got our first taste on Day 1. Sadly, we only hit it twice because we went overboard at dinner one night and had NO room left. First, the flavors in the gelato were amazing. WE tried about 6 over them over the two days and were blown away. Second, two of us were lactose intolerant and somehow, they get a smooth texture and bold flavors in a NON-DAIRY gelato. I was skeptical when i first tasted it, and she assured me it was non-dairy. After a "good" night, my doubts were gone. Finally, the servers inside were really freindly and patient as we couldn't decide what to try. We even got a "welcome back" with a smile on our visit the 2nd day. Somewhat embarrassing but we came here every single day that we were in Seward. They were good about dietary restrictions including gluten free. We got gelato/sorbet and loved it. There fudge was good but we definitely kept coming back for the cold stuff. They were consistently open and staffed which wasn't true many places in Seward. All the workers were super friendly and helpful! Delicious gelato, it was so hard to pick because they had a lot of unique flavors. I also generally stopped liking saltwater taffy years ago, but their cotton candy and orange cream flavors are insanely delicious!!! The employees here are incredibly sweet! We were served with smiles and enthusiasm, which is always great. My kids picked a variety of truffles and enjoyed them. We tried the birch bark and loved it so much that we bought 10 boxes with 12 pieces in each to take home as gifts. read more

I would say this place is your average dessert shop in town. It kinda smells weird right when you walk in so be prepared haha. I got the cookies n cream gelato and it was okay but it wasn't as smooth or didn't have the texture that I'm used to gelato having. I think my mother and sister liked their gelatos though. read more

Homemade gelato. Locally made candy. I don't know if this is where Willa Wonka retired to but these guys have some tricks up their sleeves and they are all delicious. This is the home of confectionary conquerors, these guys are the sultans of sweet, they fabricate fudge with a ferocity, they make good candies and gelato is what I'm saying. Plus they've got locally brewed root beer on tap and a great coffee setup if you're into that. As a local this is where we get our treats and if you're thinking about getting a gift from Seward as a tourist and you don't bring someone back something from this place you might just be messing up. read more

It's a nice little candy store located in the center of town on 4th Avenue. (Or is it Main Street because it looks like a Main Street?) The gelato was far from the best I ever had. Although I wasn't really expecting to find the world's greatest gelato in Alaska. I was just looking for a sweet cool treat after driving through the Kenai mountains for three hours, and my stracciatella (chocolate chip) gelato hit the spot. They have other chocolate treats as well but I wasn't in a really chocolatey kind of mood. The place gets bonus points for having a friendly lady behind the counter and for being an independently owned candy shop (verses the boring franchise candy store at the mall). We love this place! It's one of our go-tos when we visit Seward. The charm of an old general store but and old world European flair. Restrooms are clean as is the rest of the place. A cute little nook for sitting with a couple of tables. The best part is you can see through to the back and kitchen. I love knowing the husband and wife team make their confessions in house. The gelato is made from ingredients straight from Italy as well as local produce. The owner recommended combining their peanut butter flavor with the "fruits of the forest" flavor. It tasted exactly like a PBNJ sandwich without the guilt of bread. Easily in the top 10 best things I've ever tasted. My husband had the pineapple and coconut combo, and it was straight up a piña colada. The fudge is delectable and full of flavor and ingredients definitely shine. All of their sweet treats and taffies are super fresh and tasty. We love getting candies as gifts to send home to family, and they also wrap them accordingly! Make sure you stop in when you're in town! The only discrepancy was the times listed on Yelp versus the day we were in. Yelp said they closed at 6p but they were actually open til 8p that day. We love this place! I emailed them before coming to town to see if they had the fruity pebbles gelato. They told me to tell them when I was coming and they would make sure they had it. Gelato was very rich and sweet on a nice hot sunny day. This place is on the kids list when we go to Seward... The Sealife center is down the street and this is a nice place to replenish your blood sugar after a long hike of one of the nearby trails. read more
